Well, my problem was actually solved by getting a new (external USB) card reader.

Same here. I just got mine and the card is doing the same thing. For some reason, the card I'm trying to format shows up as a 13.9 gb card though. I'm currently trying to get a windows format to go through, though the thing's been going for an hour or two already.

I work at Fry's in Houston. I can confirm we had at least five or six copies on the shelf for $19.99, as of 5 or 6 this evening. It made me sad, since I'd bought it for 22.99 a couple months back.
