Sorry for the crazy bump, but I just started playing and am enjoying it so far. Apparently they're starting the first season next week if any cags are interested in making teams (I'm not entirely sure how it works other than that I'll need to get to lvl 20 to participate).
It's one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Pavilion-DV6-1350US-15-6-Inch-Espresso-Laptop/dp/B002ONCD4M
Everything should be fine except integrated graphics, which according to most sites won't play anything, but I have no problem with Civ 4 or torchlight (the last two games i bought) if either of...
I bought it too. Lots of fun, although I'm clearly not good enough to play online yet, I felt bad for the guy who had to be my teammate when I tried.
Would anyone be interested in a cag newbie night since a lot of us have bought it recently?
First pc game I've bought in years - luckily it runs on my laptop.
Do people more familiar with the game recommend using mods the first time through or waiting till later plays?
I thought it was pretty funny, primarily because they're competing for such a terrible job. I was expecting another competition at the end for when they actually kick the people out, just having the judges comment on what they did was rather lame.
There are a bunch of lawsuits around it too, claiming that even leaving out the names they are too close to the likenesses - remember the players don't get any money from the college games, which honestly sucks in my opinion.
If anything the fact that 1 million people were apparently able to pirate 360 games may have sold more to others thinking they could do it too assuming they aren't interested in online.
People potentially abusing the system does not justify them punishing everyone else, particularly when they claim to be a consumer advocacy group. This is the part that surprises me, how can they claim to be a consumer advocacy group and implement blatently anti-consumer policies. If they...
Someone should update the ECA wikipedia page to reflect this and point to the irony of them claiming to be a consumer advocacy group. (I would but I've never done wiki editing before and haven't followed everything closely enough to make it accurate).
Do they have a phone number - I realize they say no calls to cancel, but that doesn't mean a few hundred people wasting their time complaining won't have an effect. That said if so, try to be polite to people answering the phone, they probably have nothing to do with the policy and can...
That could be said about anything, but atlus games tend not to drop as fast. I'm still waiting for infamous to drop, I figure it sold well it's single player only and has been out for months it should be much cheaper...
