The "OFFICIAL" Black Friday Blu-Ray / DVD Deals 2013 Thread

In past years, it use to be the B and M stores had underwhelming deals for Black Friday and Amazon use to have the better deals. Now it seems like its the opposite. Not a very good list from them so far.

The "OFFICIAL" Black Friday Blu-Ray / DVD Deals 2013 Thread

Does Walmart usually post their movie deals online for Black Friday as well or are they in store only? I gotta get my hands on that LOTR trilogy if that is indeed the price.

The "OFFICIAL" Black Friday Blu-Ray / DVD Deals 2013 Thread

I disagree a bit. Best Buy has some good deals on movies this year, from that list I'm in for World War Z, Star Trek 2, The Conjuring, Gatsby and Pacific Rim. That haul alone is more than what I got last year. Forgot about Mad Men Season 5 as well, picking that up. I think the ad is a lot better...

    Breaking Bad seasons 1-4

I think TV shows in general don't have a lot of replayability. Take LOST, great show, but do you really want to go back and watch all 100+ episodes of it. Or 24, etc etc. It's a huge commitment to go back and watch a show from the start.

Best Buy Reward Zone Facebook App: Earn Free Points With Polls and Activities

While I agree, Best Buy set themselves up by leaving it open for people to abuse it. If it had been this way from the get go, there probably wouldn't be much backlash.

For BB RZ members who have used the Facebook app- Get 500 points for spending $10

Question, MLB 13 The Show is $49.99 for RZ gamers club members. I believe it also comes with a $12 movie ticket to see 42. Would I still get the 500 points from Reward Zone? I don't think this is an example of combining two promotions is it?

Best Buy Reward Zone Facebook App: Earn Free Points With Polls and Activities

From what I understand, if your answer is the winning answer, you get extra points, but I haven't seen Best Buy do this. Not that I'm complaining tho, free points is free points. Question... I have about $50 worth of RZ certs and gift cards. I want to get Tomb Raider. So I will pay $10 out of...

Best Buy Reward Zone Facebook App: Earn Free Points With Polls and Activities

As far as I can tell, they don't seem to honor "if successful, you get extra points" part of the deal.

It was bound to happen, surprised it didn't happen sooner.

Best Buy Reward Zone Facebook App: Earn Free Points With Polls and Activities

Seems to be working now, as I just got another $5 certificate today. I lost out on 142 points but I'm not gonna sit here and call them up on it. I average a $5 certificate about every 3-4 days anyway (with a friends help).

Sounds like BB wised up. I wondered how long it was going to take them. I'm sure a lot of people were using multiple accounts and stacking up certificates.

Thanks for the reply! I actually just did a mock preorder to see how far I could get and you could actually apply the reward zone certificates to the pre-order. I did this online though. Figure I'd stack as many RZ certificates to pay off a couple of games.

The OFFICIAL Holiday Blu-Ray / DVD Deals 2012 Thread - GOLD BOX DEALS ON NOW!

Overall or just on DVDs? I only got Cabin in the Woods. Edit: That's a lie. Cabin in the Woods I used my gift card on. I got my girlfriend Vampire Diaries Season 3 for $4.96, and Seasons 1 and 2 for about $32 from Amazon. So out of pocket I've spent about $37 on DVDs this year.

Amazon Movies & TV Holiday Deals (Includes Black Friday)

This happened to me as well but this is wrong. Not sure if I should e-mail customer service or let it go. The $5 off promo is only suppose to stack if the order is $25 or up. The deal was for $9.96.

It's the same movies on sale every year. I'd be lucky if I spent $50 this year.

Best Buy AD 11/18/12-11/21/12 - 3D and TV BLOWOUT!

Am I wrong when I say this is probably better than their Black Friday stuff?

Curious, seen some posts about people heading to Walmart, do they not offer these prices online? Same ? goes to games i guess.
