I smell a free gift in our futures.
And it better not be the preexisting crackdown DLC, I already paid for that.
I think these reoccuring QA failures just illustrate the need for XBL to become an independent entity of MS. Not that that's ever going to happen, but a boy can dream, can't he?
I think MS is milking live for all it can so it can make the 360 profitable. This is a big business milestone. They're pushing it before the Wii is online and PS3 network beefs up on content/users.
I personally think it's a bad move in the long run. It pisses off the core userbase(hence this...
Can you confirm it's not a "tearing" issue?
Because I can't seem to totally get rid of that one myself.
If it's visible during black loading screens, I got rid of that by getting a better switchbox and keeping the cables somewhat shielded.
The game offers a few options to speed things up:
-skip trading during opponents turns
-play to 7 instead of 10 points to win.
-fast start mode that lays down some houses/roads automatically
-something else I don't remember
-I like bullett points
-I mean bullet points
I totally agree. It's a nice contrast to all those frantic FPS sessions for me.
Is anyone else having trouble connecting to live games? It keeps dropping connection on me right before launch.
Anyway - feel free to add "Laser Horse" for late night or midday matches.
Woah. I never played the board game, but Catan blew me away with it's goodness.
I'd love to see more turn-based strategy on XBL. The genre works well with it.
Now if I could just get to that parallel dimension where they release Advance Wars for Live.
First thing I noticed with the new black controller was that the D-pad seemed more responsive, at least in the dashboard.
Perhaps it's just not broken in yet.
yup, bought them all the day they came out. My Lady and I needed more tracks!
But the intial GH rush has subsided and I think I'll be holding of on the next releases.
and yes, it would seem logical just to release GH1 as a whole.
But as we all know, money defeats logic.
And ToysRUs had it for $68.99. What that about?
Almost wish I bought one of them now though, because my gf wants to play too and they're nowhere to be found. meh.
This really seems like the red herring to me. What gets me is - Why didn't llama report back on noise levels. Surely the device was powered up at some point
- and I have the creeping suspicion they won't go easy on the download prices either.
Each DL song will be a whole new spot-on cover recording from harmonix's studio with guitar and bass notes each mapped in multiple difficulties. See I already made it sound like they'll be 250 points each...
So far the 360 guitar feels more solid than the ps2 which felt very hollowy plasticy to me, I always thought it was about to break. This makes a big difference for me - mo comfy.
The cord though, short stuff - needs an extension for me. My better half even pointed out how lame that it was not...
CAGers are good folk.
Add me: Coll Coll
R6V, Crackdown,Worms, Lumines, Gears, Graw 1&2, Uno, a good sense of humor, etc.
EDIT: FYI - I often play late at night due to work schedule
I'm very interested in what the BBB can get done in your situation. I don't completely understand the power they wield over empires like paypal/ebay but I imagine they can shut them down/cripple them if enough legit complaints arise.
On a selfish sidenote - I just received my first collections...
