I don't double-dip unless the video quality of the new version of a movie I really, really like is substantially better than the version I already own. If a new version has better extras, I just get it from Netflix since I'll probably only watch the extras once.

My two nearest Targets have PGR3 (I think) for $9.99, Blue Dragon, Crackdown (a gazillion copies of that game) and John Woo's whatever-the-game-is-called for $29.99. Some other random PS2/XBOX games on clearance too (GTA: SA for Xbox, $13.99).

Hopefully they'll exchange mine for free too, but I bought it when the DS Lite originally came out back in June '06 (I believe). Now it's happening with all the games. I'll call Nintendo tomorrow and see what they say....

Thanks. No, I've never dropped it. It's pretty much brand new. I got it when the DS Lite originally came out but I've only played one game so far (New Super Mario Bros.). I'll give Nintendo a call, hopefully they can do something about it, since otherwise it works perfectly.

I double-checked, I didn't touch the power button at all. I tried to use it with the AC Adapter connected to it, same thing. I tried two other games...same thing. It seems like it only happens when I press the d-pad or action buttons though. If I leave it alone it stays on....I've had this...

Has anybody ever had this problem? Yesterday, I was playing Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. I get to the point where you fight Malphas, the boss that you fight right after Dmitrii. My DS just shut itself off. At first I thought my battery had died, so I recharged it. I tried to play the game...

This one has a "save" feature which helps out a little, but it is a somewhat difficult game. Expect to die over and over again until you learn the enemies' patterns, just like the old school games. I can't seem to find enjoyment in that anymore, which is why I didn't care for the game too much.

Good thing I sold my copy (which I got for $30 at launch) for about $25. Even though Castlevania is one of my favorite series and as good as this game is, I just can't get myself to play old-school Castlevanias anymore :cry:

One Target around my area had one copy of Trauma Center: Second Opinion a few days ago for like $13 and copies of the Super Paper Mario official strategy guide for $3.00.
