Totally agree with that statement. I don't see a reason for a new system, when even the previous generation is still selling and upgrading, ie GB Micro. This things still sell like anything. I see more features and or accessories being brought out, but not a new console.

around here carts go on their own, whether they get traded in with a case or not. Some do save teh books if they are traded with them.

I have had the same problem. They do wear out. I have a new one the size of a pen, which is retractable, and it is smooth as hell. If you have a screen protector, it may be time to change that as well, those will definitely make a difference.
