Well, when I had first seen the commercial, as soon as I saw the sinister atmosphere and heard the Edward Scissorhands theme in the BG I knew I had to see it. Jim carrey's face(s) was definitely a bonus.
 
alright guys, I think I'm crashing for the night. I gotta get up early to finish my stupid project, etc. I may be on in school, otherwise I'm hoping to get my internet back sometime this weekend... and hopefully be able to use it when I get home, which will be sunday sometime. It was nice talking to you all, hope you have a few good days without me. =\

well its a very odd movie and it has nothing to do with christmas but it might be very funny. Bascially a couple of kids get stuck living in his really messed up house and he makes them do all the cleaning. And it looks a lot like the nightmare before christmas in the way things are set up.
 
I cant stand Jim Carrey. I want to see Eternal Sunshine since I really liked adaptation and being john malkovich but I have such a dislike for Jim Carrey


I wonder if they are actually making 4?
 
when the hell is the extended cut of ROTK supposed to come out? I've been waiting awhile for this goodie to fall into my lap :whistle2:D

ESotSM is awesome, I haven't seen ND yet, Fight Club is my favorite movie/book ever, though not necessarily the "best". I just figured out what DZ meant by "NBC" earlier. That is awesome sounding (Jim Carrey movie).

I probably missed something but that's my input so far.

I got it in a trade with Alundra 2 for suikoden 3 and summoner.

Don't much care for Alundra 2 either, Summoner was decent, and haven't even touched Suikoden 3, but I wasn't so into the first 2, even though I basically 100% them, or maybe that is why I ended up not liking them...

Yeah well I picked up a second Suikoden 3 copy for $15 so I was like why not? But I've found a lot of these games to be a bit well generic. But I've still got Valkyrie Profile to play, if that game doesn't turn out to be good I might have to give up on RPGs for a while.

Yes everyone's said that but I've only played 5 minutes and now with GTA SA out I probably won't play anymore for quite some time.
 
I've taken a break from RPGs at the moment to play Burnout 3, but I've been saved right before the last boss in Shadow Hearts for a while, I got sick of it and I haven't been able to finish it.

I've never played shadow hearts, I didn't realize it was an RPG until like a month ago. How does the combat system work? it looked a bit like the system from Legend of the Dragoon which I couldn't stand. I'm now doing a deal to get KingNES's Thousand Arms copy so I'll probably start up on that again soon. I already own the game but loaned off the first disk. But now I'll have a chance to beat that game.

Yeah, I never finished it though. It's so massive ... I think I got lost or left some essential item somewhere and couldn't remember where. I need to give it another go someday. I've got Tactics too, and the crappy xbox game.

Fallout 2 definately owned. I heard they were working on a 3rd one, is there any news on that?

Yeah I had the PS2 version of the crappy game, its actually kinda fun if you like baulduars gate. And tactics is fun but it gets old because everything is combat oriented. But I'd definatley give 2 a second chance one of these days.
