1 cent guides at TRU

Today when I went in TRU to look at more DS games, I noticed at the cashier counter that there were stickers saying 1 cent games. I wasn't there for a long time and I didn't want to be a snoop but I did notice 2 guides.

Edit: were both listed as 1 cent. However, I didn't notice what platform these games were for. There were 3-4 1cent guides. Sorry guys

Probably for the strategy guides they were clearing out today.

usally when things are priced at 1 cent they are being flagged to be destroyed. Seems odd though that they'd be pennying out the current madden. I wouldn't put to much into this.

oh yeah or like Mojimbo said. Probably getting rid of guides.

Almost certainly guides - there's no way they'd be clearing out Madden this early, let alone for that price.

I saw the list today while I was there (the games weren't marked down yet) The employee let me read the list.. They are for the guides.. also other guides are spyro new beginning. I snagged a madden and spyo guides for $0.01 each.
I am 100% sure on this
also the guides included are rainbow six vegas and splintercell

I've picked up a few 1 cent PS2 games from TRU in the past. Usually they're from "Buy X game and get E game too!" leftovers.

It was nice when it rang up.
