Hah, I was poking at one of these free months the other day, and I noticed they have the option to use Paypal instead of credit cards. Which I thought was nice, till I tried it. To use Paypal you have to give MS your Paypal password. Because you know, MS is a big company, and can clearly be trusted with full control of your account *facepalm* After giving them a nonsense password they wouldn't let me back out, and voided my ability to get my free month. Nasty MS, just nasty...
