1-Up: "Deduct one point from Warhawk review, if it's over $30"
I'm not sure where he implied he was going to pirate any games?
Apparently I need to learn to read all over again. :D I read pricing as pirating for some reason.

Sorry about that jer7583.

It is, but it comes with a Mic, which I guess balances it out.

Don't think I'm on M$s side either. Shadowrun is a ing train wreck. A glorified XBLA game that somehow became the flagship for Live on PC. That's one game I won't touch until it's at $29.99 or less.

Hopefully they release a demo for Warhawk, as it badly needs it (now more than ever, with the crazy ass price setup).

$40 for an online only game is not that crazy, as long as it's fully developed and has a more robust than usual online set up. It has to make you not care that there isn't an offline mode, just like an offline game needs to be well developed enough to stand on its own. Look at something like Condemned or Bioshock, both have campaigns that aren't that long (supposedly for Bioshock) but the experience makes up for no online and $60 is not that hard to drop on them (at least, at launch time.) Then there's something like fear that has a crappy online mode tacked on and you wish it just came out budget without an online mode.

the bluetooth headset does make up for it (that's not a bad price for a new one.)

I played a lot of Fear online. Mostly because it was fast, simple, and I was good at it. I liked Quake 4 online too, though so maybe that's just my taste.

I have no problem with paying $40 for an online-only title, as long as it's a hard copy. I would actually consider Warhawk if the BRD version was $40 (and I'm still considering the $60 version that includes the headset). I have a problem with a $40 title that'll take 3-5 hours to download and is stuck forever on your HDD.

I just got an ephinany, perhaps me and some CAGs could all chip in and do the ole game share trick. If four people all chip in, it would only be $5 a piece and at that price, there would be no way I could resist.

Why would you not be able to delete it? All you'd have to do is push triangle and click on "delete" and it's gone.

You'd need four people to pay $10 a person to afford the game, not $5.
