Hahaha aw come on! I was gonna quote that classic "let's get a few things straight" line!

Anyway, stoked Cupix is getting back on this soon.

Superman II: Richard Donner Cut - $9.49
Winged Migration - $8.99
Ping Pong Playa - $7.49
Powder Blue - $8.49
Where the Wild Things Are - $9.99
Mrs. Doubtfire - $8.49
The Edge of Love - $7.49

It must've been a price mistake that they adjusted...a sale that ended...or the seller simply ran out of stock.

And yes, that horrendous Sex and the City blu-ray in the image is for the lady...not me.
You're ordering Hancock and Jumper, and you call Sex and the City horrendous?

I've never seen either Jumper or Hancock. The prices were pretty damn good and I'll resale them if they suck. Sorry that I'm not a follower like you guys and won't give something a shot just because the majority thinks something isn't good. I have a mind of my own, thanks.

I check out all kinds of things that get so-so reviews. But that's what I use Netflix for. I stopped blind buying anything ages ago as I was tired of buying stuff I'd only watch once.

On that note, Hancock was ok but definitely an only watch once movie for me. Haven't seen Jumper yet.
Actually I think you meant $29.99 which is a great price.
Ended up waiting until today to pick this up since I scored some Amazon credit today from trade-ins, and it was $31.99. Still a good price!

Hmmm, is Jessica Biel topless in HD worth nine bucks... :) ?

In his defense, he was clearly provoked and baited, yet his response isn't a total overreaction this time. I'll give him credit for that. If he hasn't watched either of those two movies, let him watch them first at the least. I personally wouldn't blind-buy films that are not well-received, but that's his prerogative.

The pole dancing scene is really a feat of athleticism and skill and, in turn, is incredibly beautiful and erotic. However, the movie itself is not good. A better movie about disparate people struggling to make a connection is Me, You, and Everyone We Know. A movie with a similar tone that is also about disparate people whose lives converge would be Magnolia. An equally shitty movie that is virtually identical but garnered a shitload of praise for no explicable reason is Crash.

Yes...yes it is. Quite a few of you must have never met someone online or offline that defends themselves. Sorry that I'm a smart-ass while doing so.

It's kind of a cycle though. As long as you act like a smart-ass, you're going to have to defend yourself. Probably not the best way to live.

I don't know how long some of these have been these prices, but I'm trying to bring this topic back to, well what it should be.

Speed - $8.49
The Fly (1986) - $8.49
My Name Is Bruce - $8.99
Twilight Zone: The Movie - $8.99
The Negotiator - $9.49
The Cowboys - $9.99

Might be some repeats, but I don't know what's been posted in the last couple months off the top of my head, though I did try to check most of the recent updates here.

I've noticed that if you go through the $10-$15 section on Amazon, you find a lot of them are selling for under $10.

I can never figure out what they sort by because I click sort low to high and it's never correct.

Anyway I picked up Where The Wild Things Are, thanks to gojiboy for pointing that one out!

My X-Men trilogy arrived a day late (I get 2 day with prime) and it was obviously a resealed used copy.

Emailed Amazon and I have another copy coming via overnight shipping.

Irritating, but at least Amazon has the best customer service ever to fix it.

Wierd. I got mine yesterday and it was a sealed brand new version. Hopefully your next one is new.
The Rock is one of those movies you can see 10-15 times and it never gets old.
Definitely, I've probably seen it 4-5 times a year every year for like the last decade and it never gets old.

I will be updating the main list in the original post in the next day or so I just did it but when i wet to post it logged me out and i lost the updated list and dont feel like doing it again right now.
I'm sorry to hear that (regarding Watchmen). I haven't been that bored with a movie since The Insider with Russell Crowe.

My rule of thumb is this: any movie that you like and have liked in the past, read about it on bluray.com to read about the transfer and stuff, and then go ahead and buy it. There's just too many to list. Obviously movies like Transformers, Iron Man, etc are going to look great in high def, but if you liked a movie like say...The Hangover, it's probably $10 at Amazon, grab it.
Of course, all "good" movies are personal opinion, but could not disagree more about Watchmen and especially The Insider. You basically just brought up 2 movies that are on the opposite ends of the movie-making continuum. From overblown effects driven movie adaptation to quiet, subtle, dialogue driven character drama. I'm guessing your tastes lie somewhere in-between Iron Man 2 and Beerfest.

If you're bored viewing Watchmen and The Insider, you should probably stick with 30-minute TV sitcoms and hour-long dramas like CSI.

I know it's a bit early to speculate, But with so many movies at such great prices, I really wonder what they will drop to during this years holiday season (black friday).

Never watched Beerfest and I thought Iron Man 2 was decent, yet nowhere as good as the first movie. I'm a big crime/drama fan, Godfather, Goodfellas, etc. Big Scorsese fan.

Rafael had the right to be more hostile in his response than he was, but he was very civil in light of an undeserved attack on his his tastes. Admirable.

Bah I would have loved to get Coraline for $10. I highly recommend Superman 2 Donner cut, after all the additions I though it was better than the first.

Thanks shrike, hopefully we can keep this updated a little better now. The OP had a good idea, but it's too much work for one person to keep up.

Now that the OP is a wiki, I think it'd be good to add one small rule to editing it: we should all still maintain Cuplix's tradition of adding a new reply listing the latest additions/subtractions. That's been the easiest way for me to keep track of what's going on. I see that Rafael122 did exactly that--thank you for the update!

yeah sorry guys, I been slacking. I t does take a little time to find all the additions changes, and once i got the computer back going I just haven't gotten around to updating regularly like i was before. People helping out would be awesome. I'll try and get an update done in the near future as well.

Don't apologize! It's a really time-consuming job, and I've appreciated the work you've put into maintaining this thread. I'm glad that we can all carry the load now--you might actually have time to watch your $10 Blu-rays!
