Enter code FREEMONEY2 at checkout to get $10 off $30 when paying with paypal. Fine print says it's one use per person, but can't verify that.

Looks like it only works for some people... possibly only people that were able to get in on the deal last time.

I refuse to order from them anymore after last time. They had the coupon on their front page so it wasn't like it was an exclusive code that got leaked. They didn't even offer any compensation for people who got their orders canceled. No thanks.

I called and got some "slow" lady to help me out. She told me the coupon doesn't work anymore. I told her it's a new coupon, she placed me on hold to check it out. Came back and said it is a coupon that's good till September. I then explained to her I couldn't get it to work. She told me to place the order with my credit card and enter the code. I told her it's a PayPal promotion and the code doesn't work. Here's where I said she was "slow." She doesn't respond to me, tells me to stay online and has no idea what she's doing or talking about. The conversation with her is time consuming since she doesn't reply quick and who knows what's she is doing on the other end. BTW, she is not mentally slow, just an employee that doesn't have her shit together. She did tell me to place the order via PayPal and it would automatically take it out. I dealt with PayPal before and I didn't want to make more calls when I know it's not automatic. I told her I give up, this is too much trouble. Thank her for her time and waited for her to say something. She did not until I finally said bye and have a good day.

Also, they charged me tax for the item and the shipping/handling. The lady said tax is only charged on the item, which she is wrong again.
 
It does NOT work for new customers. I didn't get in on the $10 off anything discount that MTV didn't bother to think through when they offered it. Thus, I have no account yet and the only way to set up an account is to place an order.
 
heyyy guys relax....remember the 1st deal a month ago? the deal was get 10$ off now and get 10$ off at some point in the future. this is that point in the future. that is why you had to get in on the 1st one to get in on this one.
 
I got the email talking about this promotion, which makes sense since my MTV order did go through last time. But I can't seem to log in since it says it has no record of my email address (even though they sent me the promo to that email address). :whistle2:s

Yes, we remember, but they canceled almost all of those first orders.

I got the email and didn't really bother checking out their site for $10 off.. so THANKS OP for pointing out Lair! Great deal indeed.

Me too, however I just created a new account and used the discount on Lair.

Ditto. I think their website is screwed up... as the last coupon LOL.

I'm stuck in an infinite loop

1) sign in
2) go to checkout
3) select paypal
4) on paypal site, sign in
5) click continue, return to MTV site
6) ...where I'm now signed out again

If I sign back in, it clears the payment method - and here we go again! Weeeee!
 
I ordered 300 and Hot Fuzz on HD DVD a couple hours ago, coupon took fine. Order has already gone from "Processed" to "Sourced".
 
It worked on Lair. $36 after shipping&tax. I'm not gonna bite though. I don't think it's gonna be a AAA game. I guess I'll just rent it from GF and be done with it in a week or 2 ;).
