10% off Blu-rays at Circuit City for Gamers Club members

The following was written in an email I received from Circuit City today:

Your GSC membership just got even better! You can now save 10% on Blu-ray movies and pre-owned games, as well as on all games and gaming accessories. Shop in stores anytime, or click the link below to use your discount at circuitcity.com.

I was at Circuit City tonight, but I didn't have time to look through their Blu-ray selection. Hopefully someone can test it out and report here if it works.

Actually, the CCs that I visited in SoCal has pre-owned games, at the end of the game isle. Not organized in any particular way.....wondering if anyone actually purchased a CC pre-owned game?????

During the format war, I tried to get 10% off blu-ray (since it says playstation 3 on the sticker) but they wouldn't let me. Cool that they added it.

I have and the disk looked alright but it did have a few scratches on it. The game I purchased was God of War II PS2 because I always wanted to play it and they had it for $15. I didn't see anything else I wanted to buy at the time so I picked it up. The funny thing about their used titles is that they have a different SKU printed that they use over the original one.

Was it actually $19.99? I always thought it was $9.99

Seems NOT worth it, (I never got Free coupons send to me, or anything, unlike Best Buy's Rewardzone program)

I won't renew it.

You need to buy OVER $200 of video games there to just get back that $20 and a little useful!

(Well, it's good if you DO spend that much there a year)
