When I added one book that was $14.97 it took off 2 cents. When I enter a book that is $10.49 it takes off $5.50. What gives?

If it's already discounted, the coupon will take off the left over amount.

So 14.99 (10.49 with a discount on the site)- 5.50 additional off because of the coupon.

Works on comic's and mangas. I guess it depends on which, also if borders lists them as discounted already the coupon may not be effective.
