I went to Walmart today in Phoenix to buy http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236509Valkyria Chronicles for $20 and found the $10 Sims points cards were marked down to $4 clearance. These cards are redeemable at EA.com for anything in their store.

Ended up buying $120 of Sims cards for $48 and pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 and Brutal Legend.

Definitely YMMV, but it may be a trend like the Sony Store cards they had.

I did get Valkyira Chronicles. They had 2 left when I went. I also noticed, that while Walmart clearances SUCK they finally decided to get rid of most of their games this week and priced almost all of them at $10. All that's left is mostly sports.

They still have not marked down the Fallout 3 PS3 CE at my store. It's still $80 and marked clearance. Ugh. Same with the World at War CE's they have for the 360.

Got a bunch of $10 cards back when they were $5 for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age. Might have to pick up some more, especially if EA has L4D2.
 
You are lucky to find such a decent Walmart. My local Walmart piles all their clearance items into 3 aisles, with zero organization and then takes 5% of all the sticker prices. Then they leave it there for years until some poor sap pays their prices or it gets ripped open and stolen\trashed.
