I've ordered stuff from Canada and never had an issue. Sometimes it takes awhile to arrive, but that's understandable. I know plenty of people on here order stuff from other Amazon sites and rarely have an issue. I would say as long as it's an established company, you should have a pleasant shopping experience.
 
The only thing that keeps me from consistently importing steelbooks is the special features and what not. Example, I bought Kickass here in the US and imported the UK steelbook and haven't opened either because I don't know if the PQ/AQ, or features are the same. The back of the UK version gives the generic "And more!" Also is the Canadian Hot Fuzz the same bluray as the US that has the enormous amount of features (All HDDVD and Ultimate DVD features)?

Was going to pre-order from Amazon.ca, but the shipping is crazy expensive. My total for Memento and Pans was $56.14 USD. I want the steel books, but not that bad. I need to make a friend in Canadia (sorry, Jersey Shore reference). Take off you hosers, Good Day eh.
 
holy crap i want memento, both kill bill's, shaun of the dead, departed and v for vendetta so bad. I don't need the blu's, I have all of them, I just want the cases!!!!!
 
My shaun of the dead and hot fuzz shipped out already, I tried to cancel my order due to fundage running low, and they'd already shipped those 2 and cancelled the others.
 
Debating on killbill 1-2 and momento from cdplus for 75 shipped. But not sure if I should order since holidays are coming and funds will be abit low but I sure dont want to pay the high prices some might fetch on eBay once I have more money. Also the Scott pilgrim, expendables ans kickass steelbooks from the UK are calling me out also.
 
Good find, those are steelbooks. Best Buy is picking up their game I see, but $34? Ouch. I'd rather import for $24, I can deal with the French titles on the spine.
 
CDPlus have free shipping & they ships USPS as a courier for US customer instead of CanadaPost. Another thing, CDPlus does have 30 days low price guarantee!
 
Heh, I had to check my collection because I thought the Steelbook for The Departed looked familiar. Turns out I alread have it, except mine is the DVD version.
