I read a similar topic a little while back concerning an issue with the ps3 dvd menu popping up when playing dvds/movies on your ps3 while using a dualshock controller...

I did a search but couldnt find anything on how to fix this.

This post can be deleted. Looks like the solution is just to turn off the controller during playback.
