Impressive that you remember so many off the top of your head. I wouldn't be able to do that. Doesn't seem like anything special, most have those can be found cheaper elsewhere. There might be a hidden gem in those $14.88 titles at some Wal-marts though. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah nothing too great, but it's a start in the right direction by Wal-Mart's part for cheaper games. I'm not sure if different stores got different product or not. The reason I remember so many is because I stocked them in the bin. :) I'll try to add some more to the list after working tomorrow.

Thanks Raider....you can be our Wal-Mart point man. I hope that this is a sign of things to come. I'd love for Wal-mart to evolve to the Target clearance system.

I wonder how YMMV this is at Wal-marts nationwide. Their deals tend to be very YMMV. The only thing I see there that is worth it is Armed and Dangerous.

hiccupleftovers can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure it's a nation wide thing. This is the first time that I have seen Wal-Mart use a dump bin for video games though, I'm hoping it will become like the $5.50 movie dump bin with alot of decent titles for cheap. Usually Wal-Mart's have the same prices on normal stock, it's just a YMMV on clearance and mark-downs as each store only gets a certain amount of money to spend each month on clearance.

At every Wal-Mart around here, they have a bin full of games under $20, but almost every one is $20. Very few titles worth picking up too.

They have the $14.88 bin at all the Super Wal-Marts here in Vegas....

i stay in the DFW area and over here in arlington my walmart got some ICO's and a bunch of other titels for 15$ or less. Pretty hard to find where they are though, they're tucked in a basket in one of the walled shelves.

this coulda been posted in the thread i made like a week ago about the $14 bin at walmart which i wasnt sure about hte games in, but oh well.

Add these:

GC: Pac Man Fever, True Crime, Metroid Prime
Xbox: Secret Weapons Over Normandy, Mission Impossible, Crash Nitro Kart, Terminator: Rise of the Machines
PS2: Secret Weapons Over Normandy

There were plenty more, just no more I remember off the top of my head.

Really mmn. Hmmm...which ones? I haven't seen this myself at any of them. Maybe this started after the holiday season because no Walmart near me has a bin like this when I was there before the holiday season/before Christmas. Might have to check it out.

That's exactly what I was hoping that the bin would become similiar to the 5.50 DVD bin they have. Not every title can be cruddy you know.

Secret Weapons over Normandy? Hmmm, Now I'm interested in heading over to walmart...

Yeah, I got the last one for Xbox and there was one more for PS2. I can scan my receipt if you want so maybe you can price match it if they have it at a higher price or something.

I appreciate the offer but its not that big of a deal. I was speaking more to the fact that now there's some decent titles included in this too.

Thanks for the tip! My Wal Mart had Fatal Frame 2 Director's Cut and Kingdom Under Fire (both Xbox) for $20.

They had another Fatal Frame 2, but someone sliced it with a knife straight down the middle...

Add these to your list:

XBox:
R-Racing Evolution
Dead Man's Hand
Monster Garage (Don't think it was part of the $14.88 games, but seems universal)

Edit: Would kill for directors cut for $20, ours is still ringing up $50. I'll keep my eye on it.

Well, some of these are great deals, however it must be YMMV. I live in the Tampa Bay area and all the Wal-marts here I've been in have only LOTR, DEf Jam Vendetta, The Sims and Medal of Honor on a Display like a DVD cardborad stand. They still have some of the titles you all have listed in the case for 29.99 and up. Maybe they'll all end up on the stand before long. The Wal-marts here never hardly ever mark anythin down anymore.

Heh. I'm guessing some employee opened one of the boxes carelessly and that's how it ended up that way.

Well I didn't manage to find anything worthwhile that was $14.88. I did happen to find a copy of Manhunt (PS2) for $10.

I picked up I-Ninja for GC yesterday at Walmart. They had tons of R Racing Evolution but that can be had for a better rpice at TRU's clearance.

I went to the Eastport Plaza Wal-Mart (Portland, OR) tonight. They had some $14.88 games. They weren't in a bin, but on a shelf in an endcap near the checkout registers in the electronics section. Not that big of a selection, either. Here's what I saw:

The Sims (Xbox, PS2, GC)
Medal Of Honor Frontline (Xbox, PS2, GC)
XIII (PS2)
Def Jam Vendetta (PS2)
Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (GC)

There might be one or two I'm forgetting, but I think that's it.

The store also had the $10 racing 3-pack (Super Trucks Racing, Ford Racing 2, Corvette) back in stock. They're in the PS2 display case and I spotted 6 or 7 copies.

My Walmart sucks. All the games are behind glass cases. I want to look through all the shit, but can't. :x

Yeah, but there's too many to go through, and they basically like opening it, grabbing the game you ask for, and closing it right away. They think people are going to ....steal games or something....

Uh... and they do. Thats why we take them to the cashier to be rung out. When we use to allow them to be brought up front years ago, we wound find the game packages in foods missing the dvds/cds/cartridges. Also, Sony,MS and Nintendo PAY for the storage to have the games in, and they don't want people to have the games taken to the front. Trust me.

Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure for the GameCube was $14.88 at the Super Walmart here. I was shocked that they had a bargain bin. They like to keep everything locked in the glass case.

Went to 3 Wal-marts....no fun bins anywhere. Sterling, VA, Frederick, MD, and Germantown, MD. Nothing at all exciting. BTW, I was in search of something else in case you were wondering why all the driving.

I think this was a pricing error, but I got Silent Hill 4 for 14.88! I brought it to the register and expected to have some problems, but it rang up exactly at the price on the sticker. What a find!

Is it Def Jam fight for NY or Vendetta?

Someone mentioned Vendetta but I wanted to check NY should be down to that price point soon I would think.
