$140/$90 Injustice Battle & Collector's editions @ GS, $23.XX CE guide @ AMZ

FWIW, that stick's decent at best. More of a mid-level arcade stick with all-Qanba components. You can swap out the buttons for Sanwa/Seitmitsu & you can swap a Sanwa JLF but swapping a Seimitsu LS-32-01 will requite some dremeling. IMHO, it's somewhat lightweight. The best feature are the LED's for each individual button & joystick lever. You can activate it by setting to pulse (in-game vibration aka when you get hit) or on (all the time).

Crap CE. Better to get the UK CE via amazon.co.uk.

Choose the second shipping option, which costs $8. Standard shipping is only $5, but will take weeks or a month to arrive. My CE arrived the next day with the 2nd option (from UK to NY).

The site just allowed me to preorder the game. Just keep checking back, thats what I did. At first i couldnt preprder it, but it suddenly worked one day.

Many people were able to import the dead island riptide CE too.

I tried to play the game with a (different) fight stick, but seemed to get instantly better when I gave up and switched to a normal controller. Anyone else have that experience? Or do I just suck with fight sticks?

Thanks for your input NF. I always look for your advice when we're talking about fightsticks.
I haven't been able to get Amazon.co.uk to ship video games to the US. How did you get around that?

I haven't been able to get amazon UK to ship to me either. Would love to find a solution.

Perhaps he bought from third party seller? It appears that its out of stock at amazon.co.uk but available from other sellers. Other sellers may not have same shipping restriction.

Netherrealm games are designed to be played with a controller so it's not you.

No no. Bought from amazon. Check the CE thread. A lot of people were able to import from there. Like i said, we kept checking back everyday until we could place an order

I'd recommend holding off on the battle edition. Even though its GS exclusive, as of yesterday the warehouse has over 2,400 copies of it for PS3 alone. That big a number seems like it'll stick around for a few more drops.

No, it's not just you. IMHO, if you grew playing at the local arcades (or 7-11, etc. any place that had arcade cabinets) then it's usually easier to transition to using arcade sticks on home consoles & PC. However, if you rarely played at the local arcades then the learning curve can be higher but with patience & practice most people prefer using an arcade stick in the long run.

No prob! Honestly, only part I like about this stick is the fact it has those LED's, hehe! Might just unload it on eBay here soon. For less money upfront (sell both DLC's from the Battle Edition anytime soon for $35+), might as well get this Qanba stick (PS3 & PC only) which has the same exact components minus the LED's, has a Vewlix layout (vs the Namco Noir/Sega Astro layout on the Battle Edition stick) & includes an interesting table/desk clamp. Oh yeah, it also comes with a ball-top (vs bat-top on the Battle Edition stick) octo & circular gates along with 2 button plugs. All for $60 shipped from the fine folks at Focus Attack:

IMO, that stick is worth $60 - $70 at most so it's within a fair price range.

Yeah, I can see the Battle Edition dropping down to eventually $100 (or less) since there's not that much demand for it. The lack of quality components (Sanwa, Seimitsu, Suzo-Happ or iL) & no info on the components just destroyed it. Nobody knew which manufacturer PDP was using until a few days prior to launch & that was only because someone was nice enough to take it part completely! I've been checking locally & there's this one location that has one in-stock...since launch!
is either one of these sticks compatible with pc aswell? i assume the xbox fight stick is
The PS3 version is for sure. Checkout my Injustice thread on SRK (tech talk forum) to confirm the 360 version works on the PC.
