I emailed Xbox about this and another similar site. They confirmed it was a hoax.

I got 10 and clicked the link they gave me which told me to take a spam survey to unlock the key. Hoax.

Yeah, same with me. You have to fill out a bunch of spam stuff to get it. The last one requires your real cell phone number, (which will charge you $9.99/month) to receive some dumb texts. Not worth it. I noticed the code kept changing whenever I'd open more up too, which leads me to believe the code is fake, which I guess Xantam confirms.
