Are Blitz or Table Tennis worth it?
Blitz was better than Madden 06&07 IMHO, but I like games that play like games and less like Sims. If you are a hardcore NFL fan you probably wont like it, but if you like fun football games from the days of yore then by all means.

I played the table tennis demo and thought it was awfully difficult.

Blitz is fun, but a bit overcomplicated for an 'arcade' title. i guess if you dig football games it worth a look. and i rented Table Tennis and was bored out of my mind. Some people love it, but i enjoy Virtua Tennis or Top Spin a lot more. Your character just kind of stands there and lobs the ball back and forth, i like simple, sure... but not boring.

I played the Blitz demo and thought it to be too realistic for my tastes. I enjoyed the old Blitz games because they were simple and arcadey.

I *love* Table Tennis and it was well worth the $40 I paid for it. Like many other simplistic-looking games, it has a lot of depth in the gameplay that you don't see at first. The character animation looks amazing, the online play is great, and the Achievements are well-done. I love the soundtrack, too. As a bonus, you get an extremely realistic recreation of a sport few of us are truly familiar with.

Download the demo if you want to be sure you'll like it, but honestly, I consider 20 bucks for Table Tennis a complete no-brainer.

I picked up Table Tennis at this price at BB a couple months back. Its good but it is difficult (I beat 2/4 difficulty levels) there are some people online. I like tennis so it was worth it for me.

Where? On th circuiticty.com says $39.99... is this at the B&M? or YMMV?

It had dropped to $20 a while back but CC raised it back to $40. Some stores still have the $20 tag on it and CAGs have reported getting it at that price (after adjustment by cashier) but highly YMMV.

yeah, this was B&M. The placard had a handwritten tag that said $19.99, which i thought was a litte odd, but the tags for all the other games listed here were also handwritten and marked $19.99 so i figured they just didn't bother to print out new ones.

...as for proof, well i didn't buy it so you'll just have to trust me on this one. it was at the Airport CC in Toledo if anyone in the area is interested.

That demo was only available for a limited time and expired last summer. But it is a really good game. You cannot go wrong by picking it up for $20.
