Not as good as the $115/$125 BestBuy clearances but for those with credit elsewhere or who want options. Amazon unfortunately hasn't matched either retailer.

Both links show unavailable. GS might be the last place other than Amazon and EBay. You could add a link for GS but still full price.

Appears the 25NOW Gamestop coupon works on this even though the coupon says excludes hardware. Comes out to $187.49 which is tempting for me but think I'm going to wait on it.
Waiting for the Vanguard to hit sub-$200
Could be a long while might wanna work some flips to build credit & reduce the price that way

so how does this work? does it have a battery it runs off of or does it need an actual outlet? if it needs an outlet sort of pointless for flights as airplanes dont have outlets....though not bad if you have a long 8 hour delay somewhere lol

I really want to get one of the Hori screens but not at $270. Almost got one last week with the 25now code but the shipping wouldn't show as free. If anyone finds the HDMI versions on sale anywhere, please post it.

It's way too big to be used on a plane.

It's more meant for easy travel to wherever you're going, not to be used on the way.

It is actually intended (at least partially) for airplane use specifically. The dimensions of the case fit the TSA guidelines for carry-on luggage, and you are incorrect that airplanes flat out don't have outlets. Sometimes only certain seats do depending on what type of aircraft you're flying on, but you can use a handy tool like http://www.seatguru.com to see where they're located.

You're exactly right.
As an owner of this awesome machine, and someone who flys frequently I can honestly say there is absolutely no way in heck this thing was even considered for airplane travel.
When you unfold this it would probably take at least 3 of the fold out lap desks to hold this and the case.

BTW, anyone on the fence should consider getting one.
I paid $250 for it a long time ago and it was worth every penny then.

If you do a lot of traveling, and have quite a bit of downtime in hotels, this thing is a must.

well ive never been in a seat with an outlet and ive certainly been on my fair share of airplanes. although i wouldnt of ruled out first class having outlets.

i suppose even if it fits TSA guidelines(honestly the TSA guidelines are whacky and rather inconsistent and speak nothing of what it is like to actually sit in the airplane seat) if others are correct then this isnt meant to be played on a plane.
