BannedEpisode

CAGiversary!
THIS IS WITH GCO (Google Check Out) You can create new accounts but that might be taboo/unethical ect.

Might not apply but its still a great deal.

Please note that even without GCO its still about 10 bucks off average price

Hey everyone this is my first post but I thought you might want in on this little deal/overlook at Buy.com.

Basically the memory card is on sale for $10 dollars, however there is also a $10 off deal going on with google checkout for your first purchase with the program.

For me it came out to exactly 72 cents for tax charged to my credit card. Others I have heard have actually gotten away with a charge of 0 dollars.

Note: You may be wondering what this has to do with gaming, well if you are into flashcarts for the DS or cellphones then this is a steal.

Happy shopping. PS:I understand you can make more then one google checkout account ;) wink wink.

EDIT: Oh and I forgot there is free shipping for this product too.
I think GCO only works once per individual credit card, try using a different credit card and see if that keeps your order from getting cancelled.

Nope. All you need is a different email adress for each account.

I used a different address, same CC as another account... and it actually didn't give me the $10 discount. Oh well, it's still a pretty good deal, but I'm not sure why it didn't work.

Well, I've known about the GCO, though I haven't often used it. I just bit on this. I'm not sure I need any more SD cards, but at no cost, why not? Let's do a quick tally on my SD cards...

(2) 1 GB SD - one for camera, one for Wii
(1) 2 GB SD - for Vista Readyboost
(1) 1 GB microSD - for R4DS

And now one more is coming. I hope it's JPN made, though I guess I doubt it will be. At that price I'm sure they're sending out Chinese (slower) mSD cards. Oh well, I'll keep it around as backup or give it to my sister for her new camera that she's getting for Christmas.

It could be a problem with your cookies. Are you signing up right at checkout or beforehand? You should see a signup box appear when you click the google checkout button. If you don't, they know you've done it before in your cookies.

Really? I thought so too but it cancelled my order when the shipping address or my credit card was repeated. Oh well, I will try again, thanks!

Huh, my order was canceled too.

Thank you for usingGoogle Checkout. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify some of the order details for the following order. As a result the order has been cancelled.
You may resubmit this order by visiting Buy.com again. To help us verify the order details, we recommend that your billing and shipping addresses match what is on file with your bank, and that the phone number listed in your Checkout account is one where you can be reached by our specialists.
Well, I know my info was all 100% correct, but whatever. I guess I didn't need the card that badly... I wonder if they're canceling orders because they're all coming from the CAG affiliate program.

I was able to order two by using two diffirent accounts and credit cards. I havent tried any more then that because I dont want to cheat over the system too much, I have some heart.

I'm not sure why its not working for some people though, thats awfully strange.

Google's still showing "In Processing" while Buy.com's showing "Sent to Warehouse."

Guess this means my chances of getting this is good?

"Once we have verified your payment, your order is Sent to Warehouse to be fulfilled." I would assume that they do not perform any additional order assesments after that because it would be a waste of resources to send orders to the warehouse only to have to recheck them again.

So yeah, no matter how this turns out, thanks to the OP for the find. (FYI, mine also came to $0.00)

Funny thing is that I don't remember ever paying for anything with my main Google account, so I had to actually make another. The discount wouldn't be counted for the main one. Purchase history brings nothing up, either.
When I get to checkout the site wont allow me to select a free shipping option. What gives?
Same here, there's no way i'm paying $6.50 for shipping on a MICRO SD card.

The deal is dead now, it used to be $10.00 exactly with free shipping (resulting in $0.00 when using google checkout).

Glad I picked up a few when I did
