I have a question for everyone who's getting all defensive over the Wal-Mart-bashing:

What is your personal stake in this? Why on Earth do you care???

Because I hate misinformed people who think they are "L337" because they hate this proverbial "big dog".You know, the same people who use M$ instead of MS.

*purposefully ingores 'Evils of Wal-Mart: fact or Fiction?' debate*

I don't shop Wal-Mart for games- the titles I want are usually a: not available or b: the same price I'd pay at EB or Gamestop or anywhere else. And since it's actually harder for me to get to a Wal-Mart than a dedicated game store, I don't bother. Besides, I like browsing the useds, you never know when something you want'll come in. (Today's a good example: went in for Gamecube deal, and found Final Fantasy Adventure for Game Boy. 3 more titles left to have every domestic FF save the online junk :))

Oh big deal about WM and their business practices. In this world, it's survival of the fittest and if you're not strong enough to survive, then you're crushed. It's unfair and it sucks but it's just the way the world works. (Also survival of the luckiest so if you're unlucky, too bad). Why does everyone try to penalize WM for being successful? If they're crushing everyone else while they're at it, well, its those people's fault for being weak.

As for the employees of WM who aren't given fair pay, excluding disabled or elderly people who are already retired and need a second income, if you don't have an excuse, then I don't feel sorry for you. I have to work two jobs, one retail at EB so I can afford college. Sure it's unfair for me, but sincce my parents aren't able to provide for me for college, then it's up to me to work harder to work my way up. It's only fair to people who had smart parents who became rich quickly or had ancestors who came here before mine did and worked their asses off a long time ago. It's the way it works here; you work hard from generation to generation to slowly make your way up or if you're strong when you first get here, then you get a nice ride to the top. I had dumb parents who were born in a poor country with dumb leaders who ruined people's lives so I deserve to be forced to work harder to make it through college.

I'll probably edit and delete this post in a couple of minutes since I'm in a bad mood right now and just dissing everything and everyone I can think of... But yeah
