CAGiversary!

2 (100%)
Assassin's creed brotherhood -$15 right now it's ($35)
Dead Space 2 -$15 ($50)
COD MW2 -$15 ($40)
Halo Reach -$10 ($40)
Two Worlds -15 ($60)
Smackdown VS Raw 2011 -$15 ($60)
Def Jam Rapstar bundle all systems -$10 ($50)
Just Dance 2(BB Edition) Wii $-10 ($30)

Best buy's coupons are basically on par with current sale prices but they last longer than a week.
YMMV on using these on sale items but the current prices are listed if you want to try. AC:B for $20, Halo Reach $30, Dead Space 2 $35, Just Dance 2 $20 if they work on sale items great deals.

I wonder if this coupon will work on the sale price of Assassin's Creed without any fuss?
No, it will not

A bit OT but is there like a chronic one-star giver out there? It always seems like as soon as a thread is created its immediately slapped with one star

Why are people still impressed with these paid coupons that don't work on sales for most people any more now that they fixed the system?

Not everyone is kept abreast of Best Buy policies like you and I and some others. But it will be interesting to see how many of these games go on temp sale which will alleviate the coupon altogether. Making them worthless once again.
How do you use the coupons or get to them?
Seriously? You have to buy the magazine and you use them by giving them to the cashier.

The coupons are in the @ gamer mag found in BB in the video game section the new one has bulletstorm on the cover. It's $5.99 for the mag.

No ds coupons... love how best buy breaks their promiss of at least one ds coupon per issue

will end up tossin mine up on ebay or here dirt cheap since i have no use for any of them

maybe nintendo is restricting them, super Mario galaxy is STILL $50 after being released Nov. 2007. Look at all the games that have been released since last sept. on X360/PS3/PSP that have already dropped.

Didn't Know. i thought that they were reward zone or something.

They used to be rewards zone that's why everybody's upset, now they charge for former free coupons.
DS2 & Two worlds are all good deals with the coupons IMO. SvsR 2011 is $40 and Halo reach is $30 @ walmart.com

I tried in two BB stores, they do not work on sale prices. The BB registers are programed to not accept cupons if the item is on sale . Manager override may work, but is a hassle and most manager will refuse since I beleive they are instructed not to override.

Remember the abuse of the RZ Gamers Club coupons, I bet that had a lot to do with the creation of this magazine.

BB Gamer mag is terrible but the coupon is GREAT but now the coupons is TRASH because you can't use it. Even 10% -12% off coupon in the mail is not working on the sale price too.

was able to get AC BH 360 for $19.99 , manager punched it in for me and took that $15 and went next door and got Enslaved at Kmart , not a bad day at all . :)

Sad thing is they're still doing what used to cause the abuse, of dropping games prices while the coupons are live. Leading to the situation where people are now PAYING for coupons which aren't even usable for a large chunk of their date range.

I may as well just cancel my $9.99 sub since it appears this is how they want the coupons to work now. (grr, feel stupid for being duped, I should've known this was going to happen.)

Why not price match enslaved @ BB get 2x the rewards points?

A lot of people still overlook one of my main problems with the coupons... And that is the fact that WITH the coupon you're normally only getting the game to a price which can usually be found at multiple other stores. So essentially you're paying for the right to have the game at the same price as other places, when you could just PM it for free.

speaking of tighter controls on the coupons, i had to price adjust a camera i bought recently and their new policy on ANY return/exchanges require an ID so that they can put it into the database. i'm quite sure it's because of what has happened the last few years.

There will be an adjustment to the ID policy soon there's already a backlash on their forums page, they want ID when picking up pre-orders b/c it's a "return" but it can be overridden w/o a manager. If they mistrack like this ppl will be getting upset if there's a refusal in the future. Although I didn't get asked for ID when I got MVC3 but this was at my local BB and both women there know me.

Ya, I really regret buying this mag subscription, the coupons are totally useless now that they don't work on sales prices. The overlap happens an awful lot. It's not like these are manufacturer coupons that best buy doesn't control or know the dates of the deals. They are freaking using them as a major selling point to their magazine, they should be making sure there isn't overlap or let them work with sales prices. I used to love best buy, now i pretty much avoid it at all costs. I don't know if I used to like the store because they were competitive or if I was just naive.

I also subscribed to the mag, not knowing that the coupons no longer work on sale prices. Wish I could go back and not pay for the subscription now.

Same here, all of it. I think I was mostly naive (and they had Circuit City to engage in price wars with, now they roam the countryside with mediocrity and circular logic).
I did the $10 subscription and I didn't get my mag in the mail for this one. Anybody else?
So did I and it sad it would take 6-8 weeks for the first issue. That was only about three weeks ago.

I was able to get the $15 coupon to work on AC:B tonight. The cashier couldn't get it to work and said it was probably because it was a sale price. I told her $35 shoukd be the new MSRP. She was really nice and called over a manager who promptly credited $15 off the transaction.

I know I was just lucky but it did work.

Congrats to the folks that got it to work. I tried to get assbo for $20 and got turned down. The only saving grace of the coupons last month was the $15 off of Batman AA goty for ps3. The price came down to 14.99 which is even cheaper than amazon.
No, it will not
It worked for me, twice in fact, YMMV depending if your cashier is a "super employee". I can confirm that it has worked for me twice though without a fuss.

After last night I can't knock BB anymore I was able to get KZ3, DS2, COD BO, and bulletstorm + 2 $40 gift cards matching the TRU offer. They didn't put either DS2 or COD BO back up to $60 either. It took 15 minutes at CS & no arguing at all they wanted the sale b/c TRU is in the next complex(King of Prussia mall) I went there 1st made sure they had everything in stock to a pic of the $40 GC offer & had the ad. Showed the the post on the BB forums verifying that they match gift card offers.

Seeing all the overlapping of sales & coupons I'm making a post on the BB forums page that way we can get an "official" response from BB Corp. Allan @ BB corp has already resolved BB's not price matching gift card offers thanks in part to the forum post there. Most likely they may start off by giving a gift card in the amount that the coupon should effect until the sales stop overlapping but that's purely an educated guess on my part.

CD BO is straight doo doo butter, get the battlefield bad company 2 and play a real game and save some cash while youre at it. BF is like 40 bucks new with loaded extras on it. BF is by far a superior game.
