2 for 22 at FYE PS2 GH B&M
Victor, NY. The biggest FYE of them all.
Interesting, do you know if any other FYEs in NY will be doing this deal.

If anyone needs anything, I can probably buy and send games for like $27 w/ shipping. (For 2 GH) 22 + 7% sales tax + $3 shipping

Tax is only 7% for you?
most that sell video games should be doing it
Well then, theres an FYE not too far from me, if Im in the area Ill swing by.

Hah, I used to go to that one at Eastview mall all the time. I liked it when the arcade was next door.

Does this count for all games $19.99, or only ones that have the Greatest Hits banner?

If so, can anyone recomend me some good $19.99 games? I don't have a PS2, yet...

Devil May Cry
Onimusha
Gran Turismo 3
Ratchet and Clank
Jak and Daxter
Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty
Final Fantasy X
Kingdom Hearts
Resident Evil: Code Veronica

they're a GH PS2 list in the PS2 forum, those were just some of the great GH games off the top of my mind
Dumb question time...

what retailer is FYE ?
That's the name of the retailer. Technically it is "For Your Entertainment" trying to be a play on the conventional FYI = "For Your Information".

this would b a really awesome deal since i have like $120 worth of fye credit.... BUT i already have all those ps2 GH games except for gran turismo 3 and thats only 1 so it won't b $22..

Those GH games that were listed in another post were just recommendations that someone else asked for. I'm assuming this sale is for all GH titles they have in stock.

Don't forget, the sequels to a few of those games are also greateast hits. So you could pick up 2/3 of a series for a cheap price. I'd also recommend:
NBA Street Vol. 2
SSX3
Midnight Club 2
Tony Hawk Underground
and I think that Lord of the Rings: Return of the King is Greatest Hits, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, LotR:RotK is a Greatest Hit. All the games listed so far are great choices. I would add a few more off the top of my head:

007 Everything or Nothing
GTA III
GTA: Vice City
Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus
The Simpsons: Hit and Run
Medal of Honor: Frontline

If you're any kind of Bond fan, you gotta get this title. It's one of the best 007 games out there.

SOCKZ: Does it start Friday or today? You posted at 3am...and peeps forget that it's 3am sometimes :D

I know it's long, but here is the list from the PS2 Forum on here, plus I compared the list to the Playstation website and updated as needed.

I may have to pick up like 10 of these for myself.

Just went to a FYE in Brooklyn NY, and it seems the deal is not in effect yet. But they did have Ape escape for psp for $20 AR and some psp racing game, I think it was wipe out or something, for $25 AR.

Yeah no dice for me... There was some crappy 3 for $20 on used games priced up to $7.99... Just to give you an idea I didn't see a single game priced at $7.99 used. Even stuff from the dinosaur age of the PS2 wasn't that low in price.

Katamari Damacy!!

That's one of the best Jacksons (aka a $20 bill) you can possibly spend, trust me.

hmmm... I remember the last time i was at my FYE, the selection was very sparse, like they had cut back on their games... whenever this does start, Ill have to check in to see whats happening... there are about 4 or 5 I wouldnt mind owning... not that I NEED anymore games...
when EXACTLY does this deal start then???
I saw the papers posted there already when I visited the FYE in 86th street Brooklyn, NY today. I assume it's in effect? Maybe YMMV.

I put up the signs Wed. Sale was supposed to start today (thursday). I know for a FACT that it is goign on at Eastview Mall in Victor NY. YMMV i guess.
Tax is only 7% for you?
tax is only 6% in NJ

unless you goto the ghettos then its only 3%

so whenever i need to buy something from sears or a big electronic purchase i usually goto a town with 3% sales tax, it adds up :D

7.25% here in Bakersfield, CA. I think it's more down SoCal, LA area.

Haha..the thing abot the 3% thing is..sotres usually add about 3% more so in end your still paying 6%(NJ) Well maybe the math wouldnt be the same but i mtrying to say is it ll still turn out the same..
