Okay, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put this. I figured it was still relevant to this forum because it is a deal I got off this site.
I won 2 games from starmask2k3's lowball, a while back. I've been on vacation and just got home and had my first chance to put them in my 360. The two games were Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 and Kameo: Elements of Power. It turns out that both of these games cause my 360 to make crackling noises when I play them.
It's odd because both of the discs look like they're in very good shape and they're from two very different time periods. One game is 2005, the other is 2010. I have over 70 games in my Xbox 360 library, and none of my other games cause these noises when I play them, not even my brand new copy of Catherine.
So my questions to you guys are:
Do you have any idea what could be causing these noises?
Do you think it could be that both of these games were resurfaced before sending them out?
If you bought from star's lowball, have you had any trouble with your games?
Again, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum.
Stuff like this just drives me nuts, because I don't know if its causing my Xbox to overheat when I play them, as the system runs several times louder and makes these crackling noises.
Thanks for your help.
