This promotion was briefly mentioned in the videogame deals forum and speedy1961's preview ads, but I thought it might be worth mentioning here with its own thread since there is a bonus $5 off sale going on. It works for in-store purchases only for this week. Just proceed to the cashier with the 2 blu-ray titles and the official Sony PS3 blu-ray remote ($24.99 value) and have them all scanned together and totaled for the promo screen to pop up. Great deal for yourself or gifts to your fellow PS3 game/movie addict.

Yeah. I got them for $35 yesterday. I was surprised to see the $5 discount since the ad specifically mentioned $19.99 each for the select BR's.

Best Buy B&M is running another in-store promotion on a bunch of blu-ray titles that are on sale for $19.99 each or 2 for $35. It just so happens that the list of qualifying titles in the ad for the free PS3 remote overlaps with both promotions. Hopefully BB corporate won't cut the sale short like last time...

Some of those BR's are $15 each at Target. I can recall March of the Penguins and Enter the Dragon specifically. So make your choice wisely ;)
 
I was completely unaware of this, but I sent my dad to look for the Tenacious D DVD on his way home from work, and he came back with not only Tenacious D, but also I Am Legend and 300 plus the free remote.

Awesome deal, but he says he paid $40, so I'm going to look into that, or possibly price matching at Target (and then returning to Best Buy).


....wait, I just checked the receipt and they charged him $35; he's retarded. I'll ask him if he wants to try the price match. Does Target do an additional 10% off or anything like that?
 
Picked up Pan's Labyrinth, Troy, & the ps3 remote. After tax & a $5 reward coupon it was $32.xx. Thanks for the heads up, its a great deal since I was about to pick up a ps3 remote anyway.

300 and A Clockwork Orange are the two best on the list IMO, but of course, to each his own. I already own 10 of the ones on the list on either BR or HD, plus the sony remote, so really nothing for me there. Thanks for the heads up though, OP.

target doesnt price match at all. not even other targets, it is one of their biggest downfalls. best bet would be gping back to best buy and saying its on sale at target and get the $5 difference plus 10% of that for a total refund of $5.50.
 
Troy is part of the deal too. I wish I didn't already have 300 and Pan's Labyrinth as those are the best but a free remote is too good to pass up.

I was thinking I am Legend and Troy. Never seen either of them, are either terrible?
 
You might have to mention it to the cashier. I guess it pops up, but if you don't say anything, they won't adjust it so that the remote is free. That's what I had to do when I did this deal yesterday. The extra $5 off is still valid too. Pretty sweet deal.
 
i got Bullitt & Alexander Revisted with a price match, $14.99 each. & I had a RZ certificate so it was even better
