$20 and under bargin bin games at Wal-Mart in a cube shaped display.

CAGiversary!
When me and the 2 year old went to Wal-Mart (or as my midwest relatives call it Wally-Mart) for diapers and various sundries there was a giant cardboard cube display filled with $20 and under video games. One side for PS2, one side for Wii , one side for DS and one side for XBox.

Unfortunately even though the sign stated $20 and under the only thing there that really was under $19.96 was copies of Madden 08 for the PS2 for $10. Pretty much all the other games; Wii shovelware, PS2 sports games, 30 copies of the Simpsons game were at $19.

Was hoping for some sort of clearence bargins, but I should know better when dealing with Wal-Mart.

Actually there was a pretty good deal on 24 packs of Pepsi. A 24 pack was $5 with a $1 off coupon on the side.

Well, 24 cans of pepsi for $5 with a $1 off coupon is a pretty decent deal.

For what it's worth, I've seen a few good PS2 games selling for $5 in TRU:
NeoGeo Battle Coliseum
Pinball Hall of Fame - The Williams Collection
Shepherd's Crossing

There were others but these are all I can recall right now.

If you have kids who has joined the TUR birthday club and you stole their $3 off birthday coupons like I did, then it's even more of a deal!

My local Wal-Mart (and the two second closest ones) never have these. However, I was at the one in Elizabethville, PA and they had one with a solid selection for reasonable prices for new titles. I remember the 360 section having Battle for Suburbia for $10. I grabbed the first DDR for $10 to go with my $5 DDR3 bundle from K-Mart.

There are two Walmarts in my city. I'll sto by both of them tonight to confirm if this Pepsi deal is as good as it sounds. Maybe I'll do a live blog too.

When you have a wife who drinks 2-3 cans of diet pepsi (and only diet pepsi is acceptable) finding a 24 pack of pepsi for $4 is worth writing about.

amen brother.

Why is this guy getting crap? At least he tried to help out a few people by telling us not to trust some "bargain" bins and to stay clear to look carefully. Thank you, post maker whose name I just forgot.

omg hilarious cube joke

Look at all the trolls complaining about a dumb thread they're still wasting moments of their life posting in.

Has this thread progressed enough that we can start posting peopleofwalmart.com pictures yet?

Now this topic title might actually make me want to head out to Walmart and try my luck.

And LOL at peopleofwalmart.com.

Maybe when the games occupying the cube sell out they will sell the cube or even give it away. :0 As much as I hate walmart, 4 bucks for a 24 pack isn't bad.

Except for the cost of those insulin shots because you now have type 2 diabeetus. But hey $4 for a 24 pack. Can't go wrong!
