I saw this in this weeks Best Buy ad (we are in South Florida). This is a good deal and if you bought Anime earlier this week you may be able to get a price adjustment and get some bling back in your pockets. Nice for the Otaku in us all.

If it is the Eva Platinum version then by all means do so, it is awesome and the animation clean up they did rocks, and also the new audio is intense, also includes a booklet with eva facts and a parking permit sticker for your vehicle from NERV (each one is serial numbered as well)

Oh thats my mistake, I must have missed that since it was in the gaming deal area, Ill check better next time :)

Here's a link to all the Anime available on the BB site.
BB Anime

Is it just me or do the major webstores have just horrible interfaces. You can't do crap on the BB website. Can't sort by price, see price in the displays, etc. It took me awhile just to find the anime genre listing.

Snagged Eva Platinum and Ninja Scroll 10th Anniversary Edition last night. Hopefully my local BB will get more GitS:SAC Vol. 1 tomorrow.

I lucked out and got Seed Vol. 1 at SDCC - got it and Char's Coutnerattack for $31!

Gungrave isnt too bad, but it just didnt do it for me, lots of action, thin on story, but thats just me. Eva : Platinum is awesome though, Such a great price as well (15.99 @ BB last week) and the touch ups and sound are awesome.

Dammit, my local BB never has initial d! Right now would be a prime time to buy it but they never have it, those bastards.

Meh, you don't the US DVD releases of Initial D anyhow, they pretty much destroyed the show in the move over here. Which has totally made me weary of any Tokyopop DVD release to date.

IF you like Trigun you will like GUNGRAVE (more action & violent)

Devil Lady Collection
Steel Angel Kurumi Collection
Excel Saga Imperfect Collection

I picked up Initial D Vol. 1 and Super Milk Chan Show for the hell of it.

Any recommendations on some new stuff to get? I was thinking about picking up that Kino's Journey, RahXephon, or Azumanga Daioh. Which is the best of the three?

I got the Rahxephon movie and the new .Hack box.

The new .Hack series is waaaay better than .Hack//sign IMO. Lots more humor and action.

The Rahxephon movie kinda reminded me of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth in the sense that its just a retelling of the entire series. It was a cool movie, but too much recycled animation (from the series) for my taste.

Also, the 20% off is good on BB.com and you can even preorder stuff.

Yeah, I just noticed that it's good for pre-orders as well.

So, Duo, you should be able to get Gundam Seed at the discount, with free shipping to boot!
of course, but I am looking to use this for Excel Saga the IMperfect collection
Me too...Only thing is I already have vol 1, 2, 3 separately. The box set is still cheaper than buying the remaining three volumes separately, and I could probably get some trade credit somewhere for the duplicates, or sell on Half.com. I just don't know how I'll convince the Finance Department of that fact.

I also have excel discs 1 and 2, and I sold them just to get the Imperfect collection, I also picked up princess nine collection (36.99 before discount), and Kurumi collection (38.99) before discount, Since I picked up Azu Daioh 3 and kaleido Star 3 and the eva discs last week, I went back and had them price adjusted and got partial refunds back aw well and used that towards my new purchases. Also our best buy has all initial D discs at 14.99 a pop.

Also as far as the discount goes for pre orders it varies by title. Some do it and others dont, but it says on the main page explaing the deal, excludes pre orders. So get em while ya can :)

I just got back from BB, and I got Galaxy Angel Vol. 2, Miami Guns Vol. 1, and Magical Play: The Complete Series. Here's the cool thing, though. When they were rung up, Magical Play didn't have the 20% off. I asked about it, which confused the clerk. He asked a manager, and he said just to do the 20% manually... So he started at the top of the list, and took 20% off of all three titles, which means I got Galaxy Angel and Miami Guns for 40% off. I was tempted to go grab more stuff, but I didn't want to jinx it. :) I need to go back this weekend and try to get Abenobashi 2-4 to finish my set.

I didnt really like Trigun, but GunGrave seems interesting, should I still buy it?

I've been buying the Initial D dvds. I bought vol 1 and 2 so far and got the third one at FYE for 13 bucks. I also picked up Super Milk Chan Show, Azumanga Daioh 1 box, and Magical Arcade. I'm thinking about getting the rest of the Initial D DVDs and Rhaxephon the Motion Picture when I get my next paycheck.

They don't have Maze or Fooly Cooly available in-store, and not being much of an anime fan aside from those two series, I think I'm hosed.

Yeah, the deal's good until Sunday.

I'd get to a B&M sooner than later though. I was there last night, and the pickings were looking slim. I managed to snag the last GitS: Stand Alone Complex special edition.

Also, check the website to see if they're carrying the particular flicks you're looking for. Might be the safer option.
