Hmm, tempted to do a PM but without a SmartPhone and knowing the luck I've had at BB int eh past when I didn't come with a physical ad I just might pass on a Darkness 2/Ico-SotC combo. Have to decide quickly though. Thanks for the head's up.

If you're gonna purchase alot of items you use that along with telling them that you're a RZ, GC/GCU or RZ silver member. Did u get denied at CS or the register?

Just let them know "you'd rather give BB the money & get the RZ points since this is where you shop at" or go the less hassle route & do in-store p/u to get the $10 savings code. The you can pm over the phone & avoid the store altogether.

I'm thinking I will do the ME3 for in store pick up then Price Match. I'm curious as to whether this price match will work with the B2G1 that is supposedly coming up. I'd really like to get ME3 and 2 other 29.99 games, but I wonder what the odds of that are... Come on BB, just drop ME3 to $29.99 (if and when this B2G1 actually happens. You know you want my money.)

Of course, I'll go through all this and then when the unlocked coupons come out for July, one of them will probably drop ME3 down to 9.99 or something ridiculous.

You need to make sure you're purchasing enough games that the rep doesn't catch on to the b2g1 stacking. I see people all the time tryin to do 3 pm's & then get it...easy instant denial for double dipping. It may mean that you give the games to the rep in a certain order + return the unwanted set(s) to accomplish the goal.

There was one 1 rep who called over her sup & said what should see do so that it's not double dipping & the sup said "with all the games he's getting, money being spent & purchase's he normally makes I'm not going to make him wait while you redo the entire order. And I'd have to give you overrides for all the other games again which would hold the line up even longer."

Being a loyal shopper has it's advantages

I do enjoy doing most of my game shopping with Best Buy. I will say though, doing store pick up has been a nightmare at my store in the past, along with them refusing to allow me to put my trade ins on my RZ account. It does annoy me because I am a Silver member and I'm well on my waiting to renewing it for next year... I guess I'm going to call the Silver hotline and find out if they can apply the trade in transactions to my account so I at least earn points.

But, back to the original topic, those are some good prices to be had if you can get the PMs done easily enough. I still think I'm gonna get burned on one of my recent purchases by the @gamer coupons for next month. Its inevitable :roll:

PM's are a snap in-store but if you have problem stores getting them done over the phone seems to be the way to go.

They refused to scan or enter my RZ info on the transaction - they said the system didnt ask for it and didnt allow them to enter it. Sounded like something they were told to say. I called the hotline but the lady i spoke with sounded clueless. Points have still not shown up as pending. Guess im gona have to call back...

On the receipt from any purchase at these stores there's a feedback section that's relayed to corp. you need to fill it out. When u enter the store by where the weekly ads are you may see a board with contact info for the store & GM managers, reach out to them also getting personal interaction with them will lead to better results in the future too. When you get assisted be sure to give them a good review thru the feedback section as well.

As for the issue at hand make a post on the forums page along with the store #'s that give u issues.

Assuming you have a couple $10 codes already from previous pick ups. You use them on the order, go pick it up, and turn around and PM it. You still did the in store pick up of an item over $50. So you'll still get the $10 even though you PMed it to a price under $50. Worked for me when I PMed Arkham City GOTY for $40

Is the GoT game for 360 now universally $39.99 or just a limited time at GS? Still really interested in it for the story, but I've been playing a lot of DA2 lately (that game is great, so much better than all the ME games and only a few cuts below DA:O so far) and will be picking up KoA at BB soon enough so I may have my fantasy fill for cheaper. However, I'll likely run out of backlog by summer's end (if only RB Blitz came out earlier) and might be willing to pick it up now if it'll jump back up to $60.

$30 for DMC HD sounds like a good deal. Seems like most HD remakes that aren't bug-filled messes never drop below that. (DMC HD isn't buggy, right?).

Arkham City GOTY for $40 is tempting, but my CAG-sense is telling me that one will hit $30 or lower if I wait a little longer. What do you think?

Nope! Not buggy at all. An almost flawless, if barebones, port. Just so I'm clear, for the Best Buy price matching thing, the OP is telling me that I can order for in-store pickup at the price listed online and then tell them to price match when I pick up the games?

The reason Enuf said to do in-store pickup is because of the spend $50 get $10 GC if you order online and do store pick-up. But wait til you get your $10 GC thru e-mail then call and do a PM. If you're not planning to spend at least $50 you can just go to BBY and a PM in-store.

I didn't read through all the posts but I noticed that OP had MK Komplete for $39.99 while the e-mail I got showing the weekly ad that starts today (07/18) has MK: Komplete (360 is the only one pictured) at $29.99...

Is that misprint? I called a store and had them ring it up and they said it is still ringing up at $39.99

Anyone have insight on this?
