CAGiversary!
I may have missed it (I am sure some will point it out) but Microsoft Store has their Ultimate Gaming Bundle on Sale for $394.94 ($200 off). I need to do more math but it may interest some people.

http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/pd/productID.241996200

Includes the following:

1. 250GB Xbox 360 w/Kinetic (Kinect Adventures and Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do included).

2. 3 month Xbox Live Gold Card

3. 1600 MS point card

4. Razer Onza Tournament Edition Professional Gaming Controller

5. Xbox 360 8 GB USB Flash Drive by SanDisk

6. Game of your choice (Highlighted game but some more)

  • MW3, Gears of War 3, Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, BF3, AC:Rev, Saints Row the Third, Forza 4.

basically the xbox 360 250gb hd w/ kinect and the 3 month gold is the holiday bundle which retails for $399.99, so items #3-6 are free and that is your savings.

3. 1600 ms points = $20

4. Razer onza tournament controller = $50

5. MS 8gb flash drive = $20 (retails for 35 but its pretty useless with the hard drive and can be gotten cheaper as well as third party options)

6. Here's where it gets dicey, because right now all the games on the list can be had for about/less than $40, besides MW3, so we'll just say 40 = ~$40

so you're basically buying a console for 399.99 and getting a ~$130 gaming coupon except you didn't spend it the way you wanted.

:lol::lol: LMAO! That's possibly the most negative way you could have spun it even had you tried!

... That said, I kind of agree. It's not a bad deal at all - and was most certainly worth posting. But IMO we've seen better deals these last few days.

lol I wasn't trying to be negative or say its a bad deal. You'd have to be interested in all those specific things for it be worth it because Microsoft's website has the console only for $299.99 ($100 savings), and that would give you a 100 bucks to spend the way you like, for instance you may not need the second controller or that specific one, or even the flash drive etc. Save a 100 and get two games @ 40 and maybe the 1600 ms points from amazon.

heres the link for the console only: Xbox 360 250gb w/ Kinect (kinect adventures and carnival games + 3 month gold sub) for $299.99

Yeah I thought it was just ok. If they would have done a year of Live or a 4000 point card instead of the USB drive I would have considered it a better deal. The best games to get right now would be MW3 or Saints Row 3 as far as maximum value. Either way, I thought it was worth putting out there for someone who maybe wants it all (HD and Kinetic). A little leg work would have yielded better values for sure though.

It was worth posting, would have been a real deal if it wasn't just the regular console bundle but the holiday one with halo reach and fable 3, and came with the kinect separately with Gunstringer and fruit ninja, or even if it came with another game/year of xbox live. It's missing one thing to make it a good deal.
