Within the past few days I've seen:

NBA Street vol. 3 for $29.99
Marvel vs Capcom 2 (xbox) $39.99
SHining Force Neo $19.99 used

I haven't traded in anything in a long time but I did see Dinotopia for xbox at $9.99 new at Best Buy (it should still get $20). I hope it drops to $4.99.

You still get $20 for Dinotopia (XB) online, because I just traded a copy in for a cool $20. I also traded in Timesplitters (PS2) for another $20.

So I ended up getting 4 CD's for about $13 after everything's said and done. I also used the VISACOOL coupon for the extra $3 off (thank you to whomever posted it).

Anyone else know of any other credit builders?

I know that all these net $20 at wherehouse.com:

Malice (XB)
Dinotopia (XB)
V-Rally 3 (XB)
Army Men RTS (GC)
Transworld Surf: The Next Wave (GC)
Army Men: Sarge's War (GC)
Timesplitters (PS2)
Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King (PS2)

Any others anyone know about that net $20+ (or even $15)?

I just traded in a few games to coconuts....they gave me a merchandise credit card rather than a paper slip...which is cool. Just wondering...can I keep adding to this card and build up credit or will they give me a new one each and every time I trade stuff in?

i have a question for you veterans. can I trade in games with the plastic wrap still intact? (if the price is bad I can still return to where I bought them)

thanks

I do once in a while. Just don't walk in with a stack of like 10 sealed games or they might think you stole them. I usually trade in 2 - 3 games at most at once and never multiple copies at once.

I've done that a few times and this one cool employee gave me credit for what they sell them for NEW. So, it was kind of like doing a return without a receipt.

What I usually say for wrapped games is that I received them as gifts and didn't get receipts. At least that does away with the theft suspicion.

Powerdrome for PS2 - 10.00 credit (3/2/06)

now I just hope that Circuit City brings back its 99cent powerdrome deal again =P

should have got more than 3 last time!

I snagged a copy of Powerdrome for PS2 earlier tonight from a local Gamestop. I'm going to trade it in in the morning to FYE and hopefully grab about $8.50 in credit for it. I paid about $2.85 for it, since our local Circuit City stores don't have any of the .96 copies in stock. I should try and find Drake of the 99 Dragons as well(Xbox) since its worth about 8-9 as well at FYE.

I look at it this way, if I could find copies of Second Sight for cheap and a bunch more copies of PD or Drake, I could grab a PS2 for UNDER 50 bucks with the trade in credit.

And that would be a cheap ass deal for sure.

Before powerdrome was getting $11.25 on wherehouse.com and I was getting around $9.00-11.25 in stores for it. It is now down to $10.35 on the site...but even if you get $7 or more its not too bad. I bought a few from CC.com and got 3 for $9.01 shipped. I just posted in Deals and Bragging Rights that I got a PSP through FYE for $85 after trade-ins. I did have a bunch of credit saved up though. These good trade-ins are slowing down.

Yeah unfortunately it seems a lot more difficult to trade in stuff. I'm sure most of the $2 - $3 CC games would have gotten $7.50 - $12 months ago. Now I am thinking most of those games won't get more than $2 - $5 at FYE. Legacy of Kain Defiance for example is I think $3 at CC and only gets $2.50 at FYE (traded one in that I picked up for $1 at KB opened)

Geist: $15
Powerdrome racing(PS2):I got 2 prices on 2 different copies yesterday(at 2 different FYE stores): $11.25 and $12.00 so YMMV

Sick part was, since I couldn't find a copy of Powerdrome for sale at any local CC for .96, I bought one from a GS, just to test out the trade in value. I'd say that's a pretty decent return for the $$$, I only paid about $2.85 for PD with the Gamer/EDGE card discount + tax included.

As of last night, I now have $53.25 in credit at FYE, wish I could find more copies of PD to trade in though, as I think I drained the remaining couple copies from my local EB/GS stores.

.01 NFL BLitz Pro ( *sniff*) Xbox
Pro Race Driver $1 Xbox
Malice (ps2) $11
Catwoman $4
Robotech $2 Xbox

hmmm...I'm gonna try and see if Steel Battalion Line of Contact is still a $20 trade in later on this week. It WAS $5.99 at EB but Gamestop lists it at $9.99.

Went to FYE yesterday & saw a table full of "Buy 1 get 1 FREE TV Box Sets".
It was a fairly large selection.
Might be ok if they didnt charge MSRP.

quoted from bokmeow on another thread:

yah..FYE rocks, they gave me so much credit for the 99 cents Powerdrome (PS2)

5+ copies already, lol
according to someone on another thread:

Nanobreaker: 15
Viewful Joe (PS2): 15
Read my last post in that thread. The guy told you what FYE sells them for, not their trade in value. You can get $15 if you lie and say you bought them there - which is what he explained in an earlier post(and im suprised no one chewed him out for)
bleh FYE doesn't give Cash $$ here
forgot to mention that the cash was from the wherehouse. both stores are own by the same company, but the wherehouse gives cash for trade ins.

There's a B1G1 on TV DVD box sets at my local FYE as well, but the titles are limited and the selection is small.

Quoted:
Rise of Kasai PS2 $11.25
Genji: Dawn of Samurai PS2 $11.25
Powerdrome PS2 $9
Eyetoy Groove PS2: Not accepting
Carmen Candiego: Stolen Drums PS2: Not Accepting
Army Men: Sarge's War GC: $2.50

Anyone got a solid list of current credit builders? Seems like slim pickins. Only titles I can think of are Geist (GC) and Dinotopia (XBX).
Anyone know how much Geist(GC), Radiata Stories(PS2), and Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers (Xbox) fetch at FYE?
Radiata Stories was either $12 or $15, can't remember off the top of my head which.

$9 for Rise of the Kasai, $12 for Geist.

You can PM Rise of the Kasai for like $3.xx at Sears and Circuit City (from best buy's website). Not really a good flipper but its a good game and you can get some value if you don't like it.
