So I'm watching this stuff and the Suraez person gets booed everytime he touches the ball
And the host says that its embarrassing...FOR THE FANS!
?????
This is EXACTLY why I could not give a flying

about soccer, golf, or tennis.
Ol buddy committed a damn crime in my eyes. He wanted his team to stay tied so badly he acted as a goalie and prevented a clear goal. And I'm suppose to forgive him??? And the continent of Africa is suppose to just be like "Eh, we forgive him even though he purposely affected the outcome of a match within the last dire seconds and made the game go to penalty kicks and such..."
This would be like if a team was in the playoffs and a player purposely ran into the kicker to knock the kicker off course so he couldn't kick a game winner...and then acting like the player shouldn't be booed about it later in the playoffs
This is exactly why Ian Darke said that the only people boo-ing are the ones who don't understand the game.

I'm proud of Germany. Though they didn't get a chance to play in the big game, they still came out strong (with half their starters out, mind you) and won against Uruguay. Though I'm heavily biased, I think Germany have been the most exciting team in the tournament, and they have proven to be a goal-scoring machine. Müller, Özil, and Schweinsteiger all deserve a huge amount of credit for the German run in this tournament - they are all brilliant players.
Look out Euro Finals 2012, look out Brazil 2014...this German team is
legit.
