I see Costco has a 12month+1 month for $29.99 at their stores, not online. Not sure if they even have a website. If u dont have 1 of those by u check out Amazon and Wal Mart.

It says it comes with a three month warranty, but if you're worried about RRoD or getting an old model 360, just pay the extra few bucks and get a new Arcade 360 plus a hard drive for around $200 total.

Well, the hard drive will cost more then that bro, the arcade alone is $200, plus a hard drive is like 40 for a 20gig and 90 if u want the 60 gig and headset

i haven't really seen any deals on hard drives. But yeah i guess if u are looking for a deal just come to CAG! lol. i sound like a walking commercial

I was going to post this a few days ago when I got the email, but decided not to since I thought people wouldn't want a "used/referb" xbox. Since it seems that a lot want newer ones.

Do some research on the company doing the refurb... there were some old threads here on CAG.
From what I can remember:
1 - no warranty for RROD through MS
2 - People who bought directly through them had multiple dead machines
3 - People who sent theirs in for repair were told they were not fixable but they would buy it for parts
4 - Some warranty repair issues
5 - CompUSA/Tiger was hands off once the unit was sold

I do remember reading that they were expanding, so who knows maybe they are cool now. I am not a gambler.

I wouldn't bother with this deal. We're talking about a refurbished, older model of the system. So, it already broke once and is going to break again...again...and again. And as was previously mentioned, you aren't going to get your warranty from MS.

You'd probably be better off building your own 20GB console:

New Arcade Unit - $159.99 Shipped from Dell
Refurb or Used 20GB HDD - $40 - $50 Shipped from Amazon Marketplace
Total ~ $210

This gives you 3 year RRoD protection and Jasper chipset. Also Sega Superstars Tennis.

EDIT: My bad. Dell is currently sold out of the Arcade model. Give them a few weeks and they'll have more and another sale.

wow.. is this really a good deal?

microcenter had xbox arcade with 50$ gc last december and it was new for 199.99

I'd rather pay that and get a new xbox then pay 169.99 for a used xbox.

Paying for used personal technology is just disgusting to me , but thats a personal choice. Games are fine but stuff like cellphones, game consoles, controllers are just weird.

I don't really see how buying a used game console would be weird. Cellphones, controllers...sure...I'll buy that, especially a cell phone. But a game console is barely touched when compared to those other items.

Nonetheless, this is still a bad deal.

i had a problem with them last year. i would not recommend them. i had two dead consols before i got one that worked. i was not very pleased.

Not reccomended. My best friend bought a 20 gig refurb from them last time they had a sale on them. The thing died within a week and he had to spend lots of money getting it fixed cause there is no warranty. Bad news. You will save more money buying a 60 gig at retail.

its the idea of personal electronic

a person's ps3, wii, xbox360 has their identity all over it.

Friend bought one of them and RROD after hours of playing it. Month later received it back from them after repairs. Sold it to Gamestop. Bought new one.
