Heads up though, Total Recall & Basic Instinct have the pitch problem.

Q: What about this pitch correction/issue I've been hearing about?
A: Some of Studio Canal's releases have a "pitch issue" from where they corrected the PAL soundtracks to match the now normal video. The audio is 4% higher in pitch. Is this a big issue? Well, it depends on who you talk to. Some people don't even notice it, some people roll around the floor as if they have just been set on fire while screaming it sounds like Alvin & The Chipmunks. With me, I didn't notice anything was up until I got to the really high pitch noises (like the police sirens in Rambo or some of the ambient noise in Mulholland Drive) and even then it wasn't that distracting. It just felt like something was slightly off. I guess if you are a professional singer or if you have seen the movie a million times, it could be a problem for you but as always, YMMV

Titles with this issue are:
Basic Instinct
Elephant Man, The
Graduate, The
Mulholland Drive
Rambo: First Blood
Rambo: First Blood Part 2
Rambo III
Total Recall

It's a single disc release and most likely it's going to be $38+ as a minimum.

Unless you really love extras/7.1 sound/steelbook, the UK/French releases are still very adequate since the PQ/AQ are fantastic.

Thx Sporadic. Gonna look into a few.

- Because we all know that these movies will suddenly stop working if BluRay wins the war.

While I'm at it, I'm going to burn all my Dreamcast games too.

You might want to re-read what I posted. The German release is a 2 disc edition with new extras exclusive to it along with a new remaster of the film. Looks very very nice from the YouTube clip posted. If it wasn't for this then I would be already all over the UK release since I prefer the Directors Cut over the Theater Cut.

The extras on the German release look really nice from the YouTube clip. Especially the viewing modes and the interactive features. As long as the PQ/AQ at least match the UK/French release then I can wait a few months for the German release. :D
