Man, I seem to be the only one who really misses the old cast. Its still 24, but its not the same as Tony, Nina (RIP), Palmer, and Kim's wacky problems... The new cast isnt nearly as good (That new director is a bitch) but that last episode and the ending of the first were really really good and captivating. Live on 24!

Wow, after months of waiting we finally got to the new season. It was good but too similar to the previous seasons (especially the kidnapping).
I have a question about season 3 so:

What happaned to the virus in the last season? It infected a civilian who entered the public and made contact with many people who never ended up being recovered and quarantined. As a result of this escape the death toll was supposed to be huge. How did this just go away?

I would just like to say I hate 24 and fox. I didn't care when it was in its own time slot and didn't interfere, but today it was on instead of arrested development. I hate fox.

This was the first time I watched 24 and I liked it. I really never gave this show a chance, but if you do, I'm sure you'll like it. I might just open my 24 - Season 1 DVD and watch it, but that's only if I have time. However, I still think Lost is a better show as of now, but that could be cause I've watched Lost more.

Yeah, I thought it was really obvious that Debbie would follow him. The preview for tonight showed Behrooz's dad handing him a revolver and saying take Debbie down to the basement and shoot her, so i'm totally expecting a Behrooz/father showdown with Behrooz hiding Debbie and Behrooz tipping off Jack to whatever is happening. I'm done downloading part one from last night, but part two is still downloading. These files are massive (for a TV show), 350mb.. HDTV Widescreen rips = yay! I can't wait to see the end of episode 2 again.. talk about intense. I can't wait for tonight! Starts in 8 or 7 minutes!

Wow, I've never started a thread this large. Groovy.
Anyway ... I enjoyed all four episodes! I think my favorite character is EASILY the Secretary of Defense. Man, what a bad ass! The Micheal Moore line was classic, and the scene where the terrorist tells him to strip was great.
I'm currently downloading the first two episodes on K-Lite ... is there anywhere else I can get them, maybe faster? Scorch, you said you had them, right?

I was wondering about this too at the end of last season and after watching again, there is an answer but it's not very satisfying. After the guy slips out of the hotel, he goes home, to a pharmacy and so forth. Eventually he goes to the hospital and he is quarantined.
A few episodes later, CTU has actually DOES have a quarantine zone set up over an entire neighborhood, closing people off from leaving. Apparently this quarantine worked better than the one in the hotel. This is how Adam's (the computer tech guy) sister got infected, because she was in the quarantine zone.

I never really watched 24 until the season 4 premire this past sunday, but after watching that and mondays show I decided to watch the 24 S1 box set I got from Amazon. I was enjoying season 4 a lot, but after watching through disc 1 and 2 of Season one I can't believe I never watched this show when it aired on TV. I just realize now that as I am typing this I have been watching season 1 since midnight and now its 5am. Damn people weren't kidding when they said you would be hooked from watching 24. I am going to go out and buy Season 2 and 3 when my bestbuy opens later.

Same as me. He had a pretty screwed up day and my sleep schedule was screwed up for a week. I popped in disc one at midnight and I was like "Eh, I guess i'll see how it is".. one episode became two, two became five, five became 7, watched straight on through noon then passed out, then stayed up all night watching more.. I was hooked. It was bad. I strongly recommend starting this box set during daylight hours because you'll get very very very very hooked.
