24 Season 5 Available Now at WalMart *YMMV*

This is not really a deal, but I went to the Walmart in Irving, TX and they had a display with Season 5 next to the registers. Don't Know if this is at every walmart or if they just made a mistake but if you are a 24 fan you might want to check it out.

That is if you cant wait till tuesday. It also had a WalMart Behind the Scenes Exclusive Disk. Just FIY.

..so why not get it PM'ed at Wal-Mart? You'll get the great price and apparently a bonus disc.

Actually, Wal-Mart.com is selling it for $36.97.. two cents under CC.. so technically, they have the better deal anyway.

Target's price is $40 and it includes the bonus disc. It's also about 10 miles closer to me, so that's where I'm going on Tuesday.

For everyone that was wondering I was able to pricematch to CC. And the bonus disk from walmart is a 25 min. long video talking to the producers of 24 about the conseption of the show and about what happened on season 5. I must say though that the special features on this season are a lot better than the rest of them.
 
Does anybody know if this is coming to Blu-Ray or HD-Dvd? I have seasons 1-4 but I honestly don't want to waste 40 bucks on season 5 if it is coming to a next Gen format anytime soon.

prob not for a while, I don't see it on any upcoming blu-ray/hddvd release list.
 
The only series to make it to HD-DVD is Smallville. Sopranos and West Wing are due but not out yet. These sets are probably just testing the waters at the moment. Given support, you should see more. However, isn't 24 a Fox release...cause as it is now, 20th Century Fox only supports Blu-Ray.

Smallville Season 5 is out on HD-DVD and I got it for $59.99 at Frys.

I am thinking the same thing. Now that I am getting the HD DVD add on for the 360 antyhing that is not HD DVD I want to wait until it is.
