Great find, It is hard to find anime at Garage sales, expecialy that much!! and that is great when i do find it at garage sales it is always priced super high.

You know some guy is really pissed off right now that his mom sold his collection of Anime for $25.
The only way this could have been a better deal was if it was full of pron. ;)

A truly great find. Congrats.
damn I thought you got a sweet ass laundry Basket :(
LOL, yeah when reading the topic title I thought "That doesn't really sound like something to brag about."

dude!
nicee!
never really watched transformers but i like the
dbz and Aqua teen!! haha

nice lol you shoulda haggled! lol 20 flat!

I was about to make a comment concerning my free laundry basket called "my floor", but damn, not a fan of dragon ball z but I would have dropped 25 simply for the transformers dvds.

I bet it was the collection of the kid in his late 20s/early 30s that lives in his parents basement, and his mom put the DVDs out there by accident. If I were you, i'd try to hide your location before he tries to find you and kill you with his World of Warcraft Replica Frostmourne sword
Wow, a lot of anime, great deal.

You hit the jackpot with Red Sonja though.
You know how much those Transformers sets are worth... by themselves... (too bad the first set wasnt included ;) ) and he has the first GI Joe set too... OP... did that set include the Snake Eyes figure, I cant tell if it is in the box in those pics

no snake eyes figure, it was taken out :( and it was a middle aged woman at the sale and she said she just wanted to get rid of it all...

Am I the only one who would actually want to WATCH those Transformers sets and not think about 'zomg how much they're worth on fleabay'?:roll:

Either way, you got a phenomenal deal, OP, even though it sounds like you intend on reselling every damn thing in the lot you got.:roll:

I know they are worth alot, I HAVE all of them, and they are NOT going anywhere near ebay... if I didnt have any of those items and found such a deal, Id keep the GI Joe and Transformers discs and get rid of what I wasnt going to watch
Whoever previously owned that basket is the dumbest nerd on earth.
fixed.

the transformers dvd set cost $250 alone on ebay. i've seen similar sets that sold from $400-$750. they were $100 a pop when the live action movie came out. wait until the second movie comes out, maybe the value will increase again. good find

oh man.. i didnt know how much those transformers really were worth!
haha i'm not too into transformers.. (liked the live action, never watched the cartoon though)
so yea.. haha

That's what I'd do too, since the non TF, Aqua Teen and GI Joe stuff would be of no real interest to me. Now, if they had a complete series of the Big O animated series in there or if they ever released a Megas XLR dvd set and it was in there, then those would be keepers too.

I agree with Megas. I bought a stupid $8 dollar book only because it had a DVD with the pilot on there.

those TF Sets go for 250 on Ebay? Holy shit!
It's a shame that stuff like Megas got canned after ONE season, yet Pokemon is still somehow going after 15 years I believe.
It got 2 actually, but they only aired one of those eps once!

But yes, completely agree.

Actually, I just realized that my avatar is from that show!

It took me forever to remember the name of the show, actually. It's a shame that they only showed ONE episode of season 2. Mind you, some of the shows on CN lately are decent(Ben 10), but some are barely passable(TF Animated).

Another show I'm wishing they would put back on in some form is Freakazoid. I loved that show too, but I don't think they made an official legal DVD set for that show either.

I stand corrected on Freakazoid, since they put out a Season One set apparently a while ago.

OMG thats crazy just for the dbz sets. Ive been trying to finish my collection of that series forever for cheap. Unbelieveable, all i find at garage sales are lamps and clothes *sigh*

No no no, they aired every ep. But one ep was aired only once, on a Tuesday.

Oh ok. I was wondering if you meant they only aired the one episode ONE time or they aired one episode from a second season once. Either way, I still enjoy the series in 'reruns' on YouTube. There's also many of the first couple of seasons of Transformers episodes on there too, which means that as long as they don't get sued and the eps taken down, I'll never have to pay Ebay prices for the dvd sets.
