"Sony Canada has just confirmed the introduction of the 250 GB PS3. The console will be released to the Canadian market on November 3rd and will be priced at $349.99. We have to say that we are happy that the additional 130GB is only being charged an incremental $50. Especially considering the 160GB PS3 currently sells for $399.99"

Cause our dollar is now at 0.965$US, I think we'll see some price adjustments for the holiday period. (I noticed that Futureshop had changed the price of their Xbox 360 Arcade model from $229.99 to $199.) More to come hopefully...
 
Im surprise this wasnt announced the day the Slim was released I mean who wouldnt want to get a 250hd version. Honestly how many PS3 does Sony expect ppl to buy.
 
They didn't announce it the day the slim was released because they didn't want people to hold off on buying a 120gb to get a 250gb. They both should have came out on the same day.
 
Releasing a 250GB Slim from the get-go would've cannibalized their sales of the 160GB Uncharted Bundles. They needed to take a month or two to help clear out that stock first. Although, I don't know how many people spent the extra $100 on the Uncharted bundle over the Slim model.
