250gb xbox 360 hard drive w/ transfer cable old style 69.99 @ circuit city In Stock

My backordered circuitcity drive shipped too, just got the notification. Shows in stock and ready to ship on the site as well.

I can't imagine that these cheap original 250gb drives will stay around forever; though it seems that many have been flooding the market lately. And I would assume that Microsoft will discontinue production on the old drives in the near future, if they haven't already done that.
 
So tempted to do this (only have like 15GB of my 60GB free) but I have a weird feeling that the second I buy this, my 360 will break and I'll end up having to buy a 360S anyway.

Then just buy a $10 case and you have a 360S hard drive. I did it a week ago. easy as pie.
 
Just got mine from UPS, I can confirm it's the European retail box (has PEGI logo on the outside along with various other European languages on the back) and it does in fact come with the Transfer Kit.

Clearly Microsoft is discounting these at retail and no longer making them in this form factor now that the Xbox 360 S has been out for a while. Grab them while you can!

bought the $55 deal on woot not long ago and my 360 broke today :roll: ordered a new slim on amazon warehouse

Checked the circuitcity listing, and it is now marked "Few Left! Will Sellout!", so these will be gone shortly from CC (at least for now). Wonder how much inventory is left on the market . . .

so, i received mine today. pop in the disc and get the region code error. what do i do now? i do not have xbox live. can anyone help?

Does it work without the disc?? If you have a newer version of the dash it should. If not, can you plug your 360 into a broadband connection in order to get the newest dash?
 
I've had my 360 for just over two years now with a 60gb HD. I'm thinking of jumping on this and upgrading to the 250gb HD. My bro wants to get a 360, if I give him the old 60gb would it work with the current 4gb/$199 360 system?
