3 Month Xbox Live Bundle Kit for $8.00 and other Xbox deals @ Walmart YMMMV

I just got back from Walmart here in hillbilly- (Sullivan) Indiana. Their clearance was great for Xbox 360 products including:

Black Play and Charge Kit : $5
While Rechargable Battery: $4.75
White Wired Controller: $15
Black Wireless Controller w/ Play and Charge Kit: $27.50

The real deal seemed to be the Xbox Live 3 month bundle kit with 100 live points and headphones and a free game for $8. There were five left so I grabbed them but these were some shockingly good deals if you get lucky.

I never understand how or why walmart puts this stuff on clearance. i found 512mb memory cards in 1 store for $25. in another store it was $5! but I've never found HDs or HD-DVD or controllers cheap.

1 walmart near me has 1600 point cards for $19 (instead of 19.97) ... not really enough savings to warrant buying. I wonder how I could persuade them to lower the price further, or find out when during the week is best to check for things.
 
Well this has nothing to do with walmart, more of kmart. But my kmart had 2 12 Month Xbox 360 gold kits for $24. if anybody wants one ill see if they still have them and ill pick them up if you guys add shipping and a little more or a trade
 
Must we have a new thread every time someone finds this same stuff on clearance at their local WM?

Not to be a dick, but this would be better suited in the regional forum. This is the 5th time this same (similar) list of stuff has been posted here. Odds of even the next nearest Walmart having the same items/prices is slim to none.
