Instead of a used copy they'll sometimes just send a new copy. I never order new from goHastings but I sometimes get new copies of Blurays that I ordered used.

No, I've gotten the exact items ordered- just new instead of used.

Great deal, didn't get to take advantage of any box sets but I picked up some movies that have never been this cheap:
Machete
Inception
Despicable Me
Rango
Gremlins
Evangelion 2.22

Gremlins and Evangelion 2.22 were marked "Out Of Stock" but I was still able to order them, which is odd. I assume those two will be canceled but even if I just get the other four I'll be pretty stoked!

At first it didn't work...most likely because The Incredibles was OOS, but hadn't yet been updated. Dropped that off, and the code worked fine. Just can't bring myself to pull the trigger...wish some more stuff was in stock.

Then it's either currently not functioning or they severely restricted the range of movies it works on. Tried Black Death, All Star Superman, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. All used in stock, even went all the way to the last screen before the order processes, no dice.

No I agree it's probably dead, I tried a few vanilla :br:'s late last night and this morning and it didn't work. GoHasting's Facebook promos are extremely LTTP, usually the deathknell of the deal.

Starting to get a little worried seeing some of you post that half of your items got shipped as only one of my items since yesterday morning was marked as being shipped.

Ordered 12. Let's hope the other 11 get ready to ship out.
 
I got in for true grit, monsters inc, and the incredibles. All shipped. Just waiting on my fathers season of the witch and I am number four to ship.
 
Ok so i ordered a bunch of stuff yesterday, and they sent me an email today with everything minus 1 item shipped. That item was band of brothers. I called them and they explained the actually promotion. It is everything in stock in the used department minus box sets and PV'd movies.

Thought this would help clear it up. BTW this promotion is suppose to last all week or unit they have no movies left.
 
Has anyone that ordered a box set & has gotten shipping notifications get a notification of for any of the box sets they ordered?

Only one I ordered that would be considered as such is the Robocop Trilogy.
 
Got Life series, Planet Earth series and bridge to terebithia. Ill look out for shipping notifications for the two sets but I'm guessing it will go. I tried to add one of the star trek movie sets and it wouldnt let me. They are just allowing certain sets work.
 
I picked up lord of the rings trilogy 15 disk set, family guy starwars trilogy and robot chicken starwars III before the deal died. 27.84 after shipping

Deal seems to be still active - just gotta get the right combo of movies - I just placed an order for True Blood Season 1, Life Complete Series, and The Town - 28 bucks..or thereabouts...I suppose these still have a good chance of being cancelled, but it doesnt hurt to try...

Worth mentioning I placed an order for Planet Earth Complete Series (blu), The Dark Knight (boxset, not the normal 2 disc), and Inception - and that got discounted as well...

We will see.

What Blu-rays got canceled?

I think it'd be good to note what Blu-rays people have had canceled just so others can brace for the potential disappointment themselves if they ordered the same ones..
 
My entire order was canceled. Insert several expletives, never shop at gohastings again, worst inventory system on the net, etc etc. (no sarcasm here, they suck. I've maybe placed a successful order with them once during a previous sale.)
 
Looks I had some stuff cancelled too - only noticed by logging in and looking at order status. Of course, it's the stuff I wanted the most and made orders for....the fillers are the ones shipping.
 
I logged in and checked...out of 4 orders totaling 15 blus, no cancellations yet. About 7 of them still reflect "In Progress"...The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Machete, The Town, The Lincoln Lawyer, Monsters Inc, Toy Story 3, and A Nightmare on Elm St.
 
I picked up Wall-e, Ratatouille and because no other pixar films we didn't have were in stock, Pushing Daisies season 1
Edit: Did anyone else's order get cancelled? Mine did.

Just got a cancellation notice on Lincoln Lawyer. Others are still in progress, not hopeful. Sad . . . GoHastings and Family Video were my "go to" sites when I wanted something used but in good shape.

On the bright side with this deal you'll still pay the discounted prices on each individual thing I imagine? If they want to only send me Star Trek for $9.xx I'm ok with that. Exactly this. The only bad part of this is that during B2G1 for $1, if the $1 item is oos, you only get refunded the $1+shipping
 
My order contained two items that were out of stock, and oddly enough one of those is the first item confirmed shipped (Gremlins). Weird! Five more left "In Progress" including another one that was supposedly out of stock. I'll see what happens.
 
on saturday i think, I placed an order for True Blood 1+2 and Pirates Trilogy, still in Process. Order from late last night already canceled so I have hope!!! Now off to the kitchen, before my mozzerella sticks burn!
