3 Used Blus for $21 at GoHastings (including Boxsets!)

Just an update for everyone. Seem to have been very fortunate as my first three orders had nothing canceled (for all the business I've done on the goHastings.com site, I've never had anything canceled). Dates & times are taken from all the notification emails from goHastings. Hopefully the time stamps gives people some hope in regards to not receiving a cancellation email if they ordered anything I did around the same time.

POS company, I always try these deals and Hastings always screws me, half my order was canceled and the the other half that I didn't really want are still processing... fuck you gohastings. If these ship I'm disputing the charges on my card. Never again will I fall for this. Fool me 5 times, shame on me.

really?? you're gonna dispute the charges on items you ordered??? :roll: sounds like a personal issue to me. we know the risks of items being cancelled going into a Gohastings sale.
 
My Planet Earth, Life, and Scott Pilgrim just shipped. I wish I could find some other stuff I'm really interested in. I don't buy a lot of Blus/DVDs, but these three were really high on my list.
 
If they cancel one they should cancel all since they have altered the deal (pray they don't alter it any further) by taking out the majority of box sets + other movies. Its no longer the same deal you were wanting to pay for. It just pisses me off wasting the time. Don't put crap up for sale you have no intention of selling at that price. If thier excuse is that there is none in stock, well there is some now. Just feels like a bait and switch - bait with boxsets your not going to get and hope you grab somthing else. They have it in stock, there is no excuse.
 
To the computer it is in stock. Considering the sheer volume of orders, the stock is shifting rapidly with high demand on the box sets and recent releases. My first order with them about 2 weeks ago turned out good, though it looked like someone at the post office actually opened my package (large manilla envelope) and left it open before shoving it in my mailbox. I was actually surprised to find all the discs in mint condition and one of them was even a steelbook (Resident Evil: Afterlife) which was totally unexpected. In total... Prior 3 for 21 sale: Resident Evil Afterlife - Mint Steelbook The Other Guys - Mint Drive Angry - Mint Current Sale: Machete - Shipped Faster - Shipped Red Riding Hood - Shipped I Am Number 4 - Pending The Warrior's Way - Pending Green Lantern Emerald Knights - Pending Sadly, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest hasn't come back in stock since it sold out in the previous sale. Battle for LA went out of stock as I was ordering so I ended up putting Red Riding Hood in. Currently eyeing Tekken and some other DC Animated movies. Edit: Believe me, people would be a lot angrier if they canceled the entire order when something is missing. As long as your order hasn't shipped you should be able to call them and cancel it.
 
My one full order of kids movies shipped today and I see a pending charge of $28.00 on my card. But what sucks is the other order I placed which 2 of the 3 items were cancelled also shipped and there is another full $28.00 charge for that order on my card even though there only shipping one movie.

Hopefully no more of my blus get cancelled :(

I'll be disappointed if the Supernatural's get cancelled, but gohastings will still be one of my favorite places to shop online. It may take some time searching through their annoying web site and a bit of luck, but you can get some amazing deals.

A personal issue? Don't be so ignorant, I placed the order for the one item that was canceled, I could care less about the others. They are a terribly unorganized company and always have been. They don't seem to want to do anything about it, so I am getting my money back and never returning to the site. You don't like it? I could care less so hush hush kid.

You're pretty much a stupid idiot if you dispute the charge. I mean what's your argument "oh I only ordered these as filler for other items I really wanted". Tell that to a card company and see what they say. It's hilarious that you continuously get shafted by Hastings yet you continue to buy from them. Battered wife much? Nothing has shipped yet from my 12 things ordered. 3 of those 12 things I received cancellation emails for. Just now I placed another order for those 3 exact things again since "in stock" now.

Man sorry to hear about all the trouble people have had with this sale. My experiences with goHastings have been great so far. Customer service is top notch and most of the used products arrive in shockingly good condition (sometimes even sealed in original packaging). Anyway, not to rub it in but I am 6 for 6 as far as items shipped with this sale.

Granted they do seem to need new computers or something, but this has worked in my favor (two "out of stock" items from this sale shipping anyway) so it's hard for me to even be mad at that.[quote name='h3llbring3r']Has anyone had:

The discount will show up right in your cart if it's working so don't place that order if you're not seeing it!! try playing around with the cart a bit, removing items and adding others back in, etc.

I used it about 2 hours ago so it's not dead. You have to pick blus from their limited selection.

I did.. I think their selection might be EXTREMELY volatile though... I had Incredibles, Life, and Planet Earth originally, all in stock, all used, and it was not giving me the discount. Then I added Star Trek (which I don't think was even showing up before) and removed Incredibles and I got the discount... Someone may have literally snatched Incredibles up from under me while I was looking for other potential movies... That's ok though.. I already own Incredibles on DVD, so I'd actually rather have Star Trek... "Upgrading" my HD-DVD Planet Earth for $9 (shipping included) and grabbing Life (which I haven't seen yet) seems like a good deal to me.

..seems like certain movies just won't work anymore. Tried Sucker Punch and Monsters Inc. to no avail, but Ratatouille worked with the two UFC Blu-rays. Still satisfied with this order if it does indeed go through.

I don't think Incredibles is part of the deal anymore. I tried it with an order this morning and it wouldn't work then either.
 
8 of my 9 orders have all shipped and been picked up by the PO... the only one that didn't ship was True Blood Season 3 which got cancelled immediately (was sure it would when I placed the order so no big whoop).

Not for the total charge you dumbass, they have never refunded my shipping cost just the price of the items. I will be refusing shipment and disputing whatever shipping charges they decide to deny me. And try not to talk shit on the Internet just because it's the only place you can, ya fat fuck.

You are aware that most of the items you order come from their dozens of individual retail store locations, right? Which is one of the reasons their inventory system is frequently FUBAR.
 
still angry. They said the two other movies were shipped.....lord of the rings trilogy was canceled.....the reason why i ordered. Its a busted deal and yet they still decided to ship the other two. Yet they have lord of the rings trilogy back in stock and won't let me get it after emailing them about the cancelation they did.:hot::hot::hot::hot::hot:
