Can someone explain the policy with preowned games and online passes? Google reveals that gamestop was giving out online passes for Batman arkham city on the receipt, and maybe mortal kombat as well?

I called one of my local stores and the guy had no idea what I was talking about and told me they gave passes for new games, not preowned.

I see on my receipt for Resistance 3 that I picked up preowned back in december it has an online pass code printed on the receipt.

You get the Catwoman DLC code on the receipt. If GameStop ran out of codes, you're SoL. Same goes for MK. It doesnt tell us when we run out of codes until we finish the transaction, but you can always just return it right there if you want to.

I just picked up AC:R for the PS3 at the Homestead, Fl store about 30 mins ago. They had plenty of SEALED, NEW, Signature Editions for PS3. Basically this makes this deal even better to me as you get 2 games for 30 bucks.

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone in the local area on them having that Signature edition still as I am sure thats the better deal for anyone wanting in on this.

I am asking because I bought white knight chronicles 2 used from gamestop around Thanksgiving, but did not get an online pass code. If it is gamestop's policy to give them out, maybe I can go back and get one?

If someone buys an extra copy of Assassin's Creed Revolutions (360 preferred but will take PS3 too) I will trade you a like new copy of Modern Warfare 3 (PS3) for it. I don't have the cash to buy Assassin's Creed Revolutions for myself but I have an extra copy of MW3 for PS3. Send me a PM and let's try to work something out.

Why not just go to GS and trade in MW3 and buy it for yourself that way? Not trying to be a dick here but honestly that would be the simplest way to solve your dilema,

I really don't like gamestop and I want to avoid giving them my business. Also, I'm trying to give someone else the opportunity to get MW3 for $30, which is considerably cheaper than buying it from a retailer.
