30% off all game acc. in-store only 8/20-21 @ TRU

If you could find one of the 250 gig xbox hard S harddrives that are starting to trickle out, it would bring the cost of the drive down to around 90. (regular price 130) engadget is saying that gamestop has them already.
 
I hit up two stores today.

At one I got the last box of the Arcade Play controller bundle for 30% off since it's considered an accessory.

At the other store I found the Scene It bundle and was able to stack the 30% off clearance games promo and the Halo coupon (7.48 out the door).

I want to ask if anyone has tried to get Wii clearance games for 30% off. The two stores I went to today had signage specifying that 360 & PS3 clearance games (game prices ending in an 8 or 0) received an additional 30% discount. Wii games were not mentioned at either store.

I focused mainly on the 360 games since I was looking for games to stack with the coupon code so I don't know if the offer is good on Wii games.

It is pretty much guaranteed that SRTChallenger will be clearing out all the Miami Beach Florida TRU locations and probably kill the Halo Card stack at the same time, just like he killed off the $10 or lower games.

Better go while you can.

30% off clearance games only applies to 360 and PS3. The wife bought EA Fitness More Workouts for the Wii because it was on clearance, but no discount.

Also, the 12+1 LIVE subscription cards sold in the clamshell count as accessories. I picked up two tonight for $28 each (regularly $40).

He's the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude who ruined the free games deal after snagging fifty-seven games in one haul. At first the store denied him. He called corporate right there and then. They let him have the fifty-seven games, then ended the deal.
 
Anyone have any idea if TRUs sell new PS2 controllers? My old one's buttons were going bad so I traded that in to Gamestop and am in need of a replacement.

Yes, I saw some yesterday, and these were priced at $24.99 before the 30% discount.

I saw one sole copy Lost Odyssey shrink-wrapped at my TRU. I don't think it's a big deal. I just wish I could shake it before taking it up to the register. Anyway, I don't think the game was on clearance at my store, so that was enough incentive to wait for another time to buy it.

I totally missed this. Any chance this or the halo card will still work tomorrow, or is it dead and I was totally late to the party... wow i missed the free under $10 games and now i miss the 30%+$10off deal. i need to visit cag more often.

I want to personally thank the OP. My 5 month pregnant wife is yours for the day. No really take her.

I got the email and didnt think anything about going, but after reading that this would stack with the Halo card I hit up 4 TRUs yesterday. I got 1 copy of 26 different games.

Two storys to tell second store a fellow CAGer with a stack of games in hand turns around sees me with my stack and giggles. We traded user names and which store to hit for games we were looking for. He advised my wife its a Toys R Us day. Forth store after I was done I asked the cashier(honestly the friendliest cashier I have ever seen in a TRU) I asked if they had any sith edition force unleashed. He says not for 360 but for PS3. They had 3 and I started to get all 3, but he says we really need to keep one for inventory purposes(Subliminal please leave me a copy to buy for myself) So I bought 2 of the 3 prestine copies and left one for him.

I also had a 5.00 off reward so my prices may be slightly lower than some other peoples
