Most likely they will remove whats out that they dont want to reduce and then leave what they want to let go at the reduced prices.

First day of the sale will be the best obviously in case that store is running behind on pulling open box items..

Not acutally true for open items. The less open items a department has the better. The managers HATE seeing open items on the floor and want them sold asap. We discount open items a bunch to get them off the floor at the BB i work at (yeah I know it sucks, but no one else will pay $9 + for part timers ).

Actually if you have a Menards by you, they pay starting $11/hr on the weekends for part time.

Dang. Too bad this isn't good on any open-box item. There's this open-box PS1 arcade stick for $9.99 at mine, and I'd jump on it for $6.66...bleh. Not a big deal or anything, I just don't wanna pay $10 and have it suck...I could buy both RibbitKing and Hunter the Reckoning: Wayward at BB for that price, so it's a matter of pure and simple principle.
