no tax in most states.

I can't find the original of this deal for BF but... I received more of my BRs and one was The Matrix: anniversary edition for about $10. It got here and HOLY SHIT, it was the Matrix Collection.

Thinking about biting on a few of these, only drawback is I'm in the midwest so there's tax but it still came out to like $8 a movie after shipping. On another note, are the Transporter movies pretty good OP?

Btw shipping is a flat $2.99 + $1 per item

$25 for two blu rays and two dvds isn't too bad. Especially good seeing as how sunshine never seems to go on sale.

I grabbed a few for 7-8 bucks a movie shipped, i also finished off the Saw movies and terminator series. I also grabed Mission impossible 1-3. I ordered yesterday morning. All Bluray

Good deal, thanks OP! I ordered:
Kingdom of Heaven
Crank 2
Jumper
The Descent
HItman
Be Kind Rewind

All for $60 shipped.

While I think their shipping is too high, the over all price can't be argued with. A hair under $45 for 4 blu rays and 4 dvds. Anyone else wonder about "used" and "previously viewed" and how they were priced differently?

Quantity:1,Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Previously Viewed - Blu-ray $5.64Discount: 1 for $5.640000000000001 eac

Yeah. Previously viewed means they have been rented out, used means they were sold/traded in to hastings. Used are probably in better shape although I have heard most people mention that the hastings discs they get are in good condition regardless.

personally, i love the transporter series. it is not serious at all, and knows exactly what it is (think Crank LITE). it is non stop slightly over the top action with little focus on story/plot and no character development. the fight scenes are well choreographed and the action intense. like a mix of jackie chan and Jean Claude Van Dam styles, martial arts and guns but not as fake looking as the jet li stuff. the blurays are beautiful and the series in general has good camerawork and pretty european shots. there are also some pretty amazing car chase scenes.

if you want something completely over the top, non stop action i recommend you check out crank. its hilarious, amusing, kick-ass and entertaining as hell.

i dont really know, but usually the used stuff is a lot cheaper than the previously viewed items. but i echo that gohastings has stuff in pretty good condition. i also read from other people that very rarely will they not receive a game manual, and calling up customer support enabled them to get another one shipped to them for free (exchange).

I ordered The Fast and the Furious on Blu-Ray and today I received what LOOKED like my movie, but inside was the disc for Fast & Furious.

All this after Amazon and Walmart were giving better prices anyway. Talk about insult to injury.

I ordered eight different BDs and received separate shipping notifications for each then later today I got one saying that five of the six were shipped together. @_@ I'm confused...were they shipped individually or together or did they goof and send me extras?

Buyer beware with the used stuff. I ordered The Fast And The Furious on Blu-Ray(used) from them over Black Friday and they sent me the correct case, but the movie was Fast & Furious. So far customer support has been virtually unreachable online. I'm gonna try calling them soon.

Here's to hoping they aren't a bitch to deal with.

Just call them. If you had called them in the first place, you would already have your refund (they don't send replacements, just refunds). Customer service is great, I've never had a problem.

Yeah, I just called them and they were really cool about the whole thing. I should have just done that right away, but I thought emailing would be quicker for some reason.

They didn't have the movie(or so the guy told me) so they refunded all my money and are letting me keep the movie I got by mistake. Not bad. So be cautious when buying their used stuff, but if they do mess up they have excellent customer service.

I've only ordered games (around 13 so far), and almost all have come brand new. Oh yeah I also bought the Watchmen motion comics for like $2 and that was like new too. Even came with moviecash to see The Watchmen in theatres.

Every single one of mine have been shipped in separate bubble mailers, even the ones shipping from the same location. All seem to be in good condition.

Wish I had noticed that price on it when I placed an order for some movies the other day. I would pay $2.60 (30% off + the $1 extra shipping per item) just to hear the woman parts being spoken by a dude...

I ordered five used blus on Monday, 3 of em came today. All of them in excellent condition, one of them was even brand new. They are very picky about their used items, and if they do mess up they have good CS. Don't worry about that.

I believe someone said in another thread that used is stuff that's traded in and previously viewed is stuff they rented out and are now selling.

Well I ordered a mix of both and received Hitman in a DVD case. I plan on calling them up to ask for a blu case. The three others I received were all fine. I just hope the four others are, too.

I love gohastings. I got 6 blurays from them, used and they all worked perfectly.

The wrestler
Slumdog millionare
milk
goodfellas
revolutionary road
memento

all for $ 47.00

memento one of my fav movies. n slumdog was real good too actually great picks on all of them.

dj hero used for the ps3 is selling for $70 after shipping n promo holiday code (i think the ps3 was the only one in stock)--just saying cuz i see a lot of people trying to find it used for $60 at gamestop plus tax with not much luck. maybe a good deal or not for those looking for it.

Probably dumb question, but does this sale extend to their B&M stores as well? I did see a promo code for the websale. Id like to just go pick these up from the store.

360 version is back in stock, I guess. Ordered it with Killzone 2, Rockband Unplugged PSP, Killzone Liberation PSP, and a bunch of $2 dvds
I believe someone said in another thread that used is stuff that's traded in and previously viewed is stuff they rented out and are now selling.
this is the general idea, yes. HOWEVER, i have gotten previous rentals on stuff that was marked 'used' as well as 'previously viewed'
Ohh, so the previously viewed might not come in a Blu case?
they all come mint, like new with cases (always with the artwork and usually with the stupid inserts in the cases tell you that this blu was manufactured to the best.....). if they dont, call gohastings up and you may get either a refund or a case or an exchange. their customer service is amazing!

the thing that tells you its a previous rental is that the movie disk of the BD has a very small sticker around the inner hole. its circular and very flat. im sure you can take it off without worry since its not on the part of the disk that has information on it, but it doesnt bother me and i just leave them.

i have ordered 8 BDs from them so far and they all arrived minty fresh like new. their prices are great and their sales keep me coming back.
Got a few from my order. It sucks that they sent me Hitman in a DVD case though :/
call them. you'll either get a case or an exchange maybe even a refund.

i got all of my order in. all were in excellent condition.

Did anyone get a call from Hastings like 30 minutes after placing your order? They called me just to confirm that I had ordered things with them. Maybe they got suspicious that it was my third order in a week?

Yes if your order is over $100, they generally call to confirm it is you to ensure your personal account safety.

And I do agree with other members that they have great customer service and every time I have had any problems with any orders, they are very good with resolving it. I have ordered over 50+ blu-rays from them and almost all of them have been excellent. I have even gotten a few that were still sealed. A few of them are missing the digital copies, but I don't really use them so I don't care. But if you do care about digital copies and it is missing, just call their customer service.

I never really thought much for buying used movies, but they are top-notched and keep me coming back with their sales.

My copy of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 came with the slipcover but the case is torn and with no cover art. I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask for a new case. I'm kind of disappointed since this is my first purchase from them.

I forgot to post what happened when I called. I spoke to someone who was obviously pissed off to be there. I explained my situation to the lady who answered the phone and she immediately said she would be e-maling me a return label, I told her I did not want to return the movie just get a BD case and she gave me an attitude telling me that she doesn't have any product in stock...I mention that somehow the website shows it is in stock.

She states that she doesn't have any blu ray cases to ship out. I ask if she can ship out another BD complete and I will ship back the one in the DVD case. "Nope," is all I got.

I had an applicant coming in in the next few minutes so I just left it at that. I got the return label but I don't want to send the movie in; I think I will take the label and attach it to an envelope full of paper just to waste the postage

I bought the 3 Transporter movies and T2 had the spindle teeth broken. T3 had a slash on the front cover that also went though the cover art. I was able to get rid of them off CL since I didn't want to keep then after all. Those are the only ones that were pretty bad that I got from them out of all my orders.

My blu ray movie Pineapple Express Unrated had a defective disc. I tried everything to clean it but I decided to return it tomorrow. Sadly, I have to go to the post office and I decided to buy it from another place.

Anyone still able to get the promo code "holiday" or "cybermonday" to work. I tried entering the codes today (dec 20th) and the codes seem to be invalid. So i guess the the promotion has expired. I got it to work last week but now it does not work.

Damn according to similar threads, it appears the promo ended on the 19th.
