I bought the same HD at CompUSA for $149.99 before $60 rebate, ran a few other errrands at the same shopping center, then came back with the Fry's ad, acted nice and mildly dumb ;) and BOOM walked out with the price match... a 300GB HD for $29.99 after rebate? Yezzir :D

Extreme YMMV but worth a shot especially if you want the hard drive anyway :)

Sexy. I work at Staples, so I printed to page to pricematch tomorrow. 12% associate discount, $30 reward check, and I can probably swing a 110% match instead of 100% (as it's supposed to be when matching sale items)... should be $48+tax out the door.

Do nerds really need this much storage for their porn?
Seriously though that's a lot of space for little $

I have a 160G and 300G in my PC right now, and believe it or not, I'm running out of space. I have all my apps and docs on my master (160) and my media files on my slave (300). I was actually looking for this exact model to add to my system and was about to go to Fry's tomorrow so the timing was perfect.

Total space after sale: 760Gigs (wow, that's almost a terabyte!)

WOW 500gb!

I remember my first computer having a HUGE 2gb hard drive! :D I've currently got 2 120s and a 80 in my pc so one of these would be LOVELY but I don't have the extra cash to spare for something I really don't need. :)

It was just 4 years ago when I had my awesome 4GB computer. The only thing I could fit on there was Windows. Today with all the patches, I don't think my lil' 4gig would have made it.
