($32.98 for both!) Order Monsters Inc. BD AND UP BD (same order) and save $10

Two questions:
1) These come with a dvd copy, right?
2) Is Monster's Inc. worth it? I've only seen bits of it on tv.

Amazon just responded to my email and adjusted the price down. It only took 20 minutes for them to answer my email. Great customer service, Amazon!

Nice to see that they met WM's price as close as they could on Up, and once again, email sent off to get the price adjusted, as it's not showing yet.

Hopefully, they'll follow suit with Monsters Inc, and then I'll just let this order go with Amazon. Assuming they don't drop the prices again. :D

I'll wait it out. I'm too lazy to write an email. I will let you know how it goes. they still have my UP at 22.xx or whatever.

Correct....dvd copy along with a digital copy and blu ray. Unbelievable price!!!!

1) It comes with two BR discs with the movie and additional content, a third disc that is the DVD copy of the movie, and a fourth disc which is a digital copy of the movie.
2) Without question, it's worth it. Check the reviews about it earlier in the thread.

Got Monsters Inc. & Star Trek in my gold box today.

$55 total for Up, Monsters, & Star Trek on blu-ray.

Amazoning deal!!!
Damn! $12.24 a piece for Up and Monsters Inc in the end :bouncy:
How did you end up with them that cheap?
How did you end up with them that cheap?
My guess is Snow White Thanks code. Some people who ordered Snow White @ Amazon are reporting they have gotten an extra $10 off a BR purchase. When others who ordered it didn't get the promotion applied, some have had no problem e-mailing and getting a credit, others keep getting refused.

But yeah, I hope Amazon will give out one last major push to get both down to ~$28-$30 mark to compete with Monsters, Inc. & Up Disney coupons. Either that, or an Up Thanks code.

My order still shows $37.48. If it doesn't drop by tomorrow, I'll send an e-mail.

He probably used trade-in credit, just like I am :whistle2:D

I e-mailed and got Up adjusted, now I'll do the same for Monsters Inc. I feel like a cock for e-mailing them about this, but it only takes me a couple seconds and saves me a couple bucks!

I'm really hoping Monsters Inc will hit $19.99 before Tuesday.

EDIT: Well what the fuck. I just checked my order to see if Up had really been changed to $19.99 and if Monster's Inc. automatically dropped, and it turns out the CSR must've done something wrong, because the $10 bundle pricing is missing. Once they adjust my order for the Monster's Inc. I'm going to notify them about this and hopefully they correct it.

You guys should make sure the same didn't happen to you.

I've had enough issues with the Pre-Order Price Guarantee not getting done that I always email them about it, to make sure it gets done. Canceling an order and remaking it every time there's a price drop, now that's being a cock.

And they just emailed me that they changed the price on Monsters Inc to $22.99. I just checked my order and the bundle pricing is showing up there. If they don't fix it after they adjust Monsters Inc. on your order, then cancel the existing order and make a new one. The order probably won't ship out until Friday or Monday, so you won't be stuck with a double order if you do it today or tomorrow.

This is great! I'm going to stick with Amazon for the $19.99 price--I just sent them an email to adjust my pre-order. Wish I had waited for Monsters, Inc. now...oh wells.

Awesome. I just got my price adjusted again down to $44.47 for Snow White, UP and Monsters, Inc. (all blu-ray obviously). That's $14.82 each! Amazing!

If they drop Monsters Inc. $5 the total will be $39.47 or $13.15 each which would be sick.

got this back from them later this afternoon, asking if they would offer a coupon offer similar to snow white to compete with the disney coupon

"Currently we don't accept manufacture coupons as a payment method on our website at this point.

Thanks for your suggestion about using manufacturer coupon in our site. Customer feedback like yours is very important in helping us continue to improve our website and services. I appreciate your thoughts, and I'll be sure to pass your suggestion along."

I know its a canned response but ehh, might as well give it a shot. Also the price guarantee says within 24 hours, should I wait or email them now.

I just email or call them. Prices are so volatile, I don't want to wait in case the price goes up within that time.

Why is cancelling and re-ordering "being a cock"? (serious question) When you email or call, it takes up someone's time, they have to do some work to save you $1-$2, and then fill out a form email.

Cancelling/re-ordering takes about the same amount of time for you, and just causes Amazon's database to run a few queries, changes some stuff around, and no human ever touches it again.

Or am I missing something?

I had placed a pre-order for these two, plus Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All three dropped today, now getting all three for $49.97. Great deal...

I dont know what to do? It would be nice to order these through Amazon and be done with it for $33.00 and not have to go out Tuesday morning to TRU after waiting in line the night before at Gamestop for COD4:MW2. But I have a $33.00 TRU gift card plus the $8.00 off coupon for "Monsters Inc" plus TRU is giving a $10.00 if you spend $40.00 or more on Disney movies.

Pros for Amazon:

No getting up early
Great price
Free shipping and no tax

Pros for TRU:

Have a $33.00 TRU gift card
"Up" comes with a free plush dog(which I will throw in the "toys for tots" bin)
Already paid $5.00 towards "Up"
Have "Monster Inc" $8.00 off coupon
"Monsters Inc" comes with a $5.00 gift card
Free $10.00 for spending over $40.00 on Disney Movies

Cons for Amazon:

Its going to cost $33.00 in straight cash
If a "Up" coupon pops up as rumored on Slick Deals I will lose out on it

Cons for TRU:

Have to get ther early to make sure I get both movies on my day off after waiting in line the night before at Gamestop

You're going to have to take time away from playing MW:2 to be there early. Order them from Amazon...do you really want to have to deal with soccer moms that early in the morning at TRU?

The good thing about the TRU I go to is a lot of the "Soccer Moms" are also "Trophy Wives" and are pretty nice to look at while waiting in line.

Target has a $10 coupon as well. Stack that with the monsters inc $8 and you have it for like $24.96 + tax out the door for both.

i saw Up!'s but nothing for Monsters. I'll have to keep tabs on available coupons and whatnot to see what winds up being the better deal i guess.

Thought it was posted that the price for both movies at Target even after both coupons would still be $36.00 plus tax out the door.

There is a rumor on Slick Deals that there will be a $10.00 or $8.00 off of "Up" coupon but it wont be live till Tuesday, by then the Amazon bonus $10.00 promo might be over.

Look up Monsters Inc and there is a bundle offer down the page, I got both for $32.98. No code required. It does not show up in the list of eligible BDs if you go through the stuff in the OP.

Just me $0.02 on the situation. Plus, if you don't cancel your order, you keep your place in queue for order fulfillment when the items come in stock for pre-orders.

That's because Monsters, Inc. just dropped to $22.99. Woo, hurry up and adjust my order, Amazon!

Odd, they matched it to the current price, and the $10 discount popped back up again. My total is down to $13.04 after credit. Hopefully they drop even lower :bouncy:
Wonder if this is Amazon's response to the coupons offered in B&M stores.
Hmmm, that's not bad if you don't already own Snow White, Pinocchio, or Cars, but sadly I already own the first two and have no interest in Cars

Stacks with the bundle - could get another blu for $10 or so on top

Wow, this is great. It's even cheaper now. Thanks for the head's up -- I just e-mailed Amazon asking for the price adjustment.

Rats, I already own everything in that list I wanted to own. Then again, I got several of those for like $10 each anyways.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just canceled my existing pre-order for Up/Monsters Inc. at $37.48, and ordered Up, Monsters, and Pinocchio for $42.97. I am still thinking about getting Bolt or Sleeping Beauty instead of Pinocchio, but wanted to get my order in, in case the prices changed.

My order was still at 37.48 as well, so I went ahead and cancelled and placed a new order with Cars for 42.xx. It just keeps getting better!
